This is a typical Dunkin Donuts but right on RT 68 makes it convienent in town or if you are heading to RT 84.

You stop for breakfast, or just for a drink. What can you say, it's a Dunkin' Donuts. The breakfast sandwich are good.

There are many great places to choose breakfast food, this is not one of them. The food here is always stale and if you order anything toasted such a bagel,it is just thrown together and barely warm. The staff here apparently have no customer service training either. Try great other places in either direction.

This review is NOT specifically written for one of Cheshire's three Dunkin' Donuts, but it certainly applies to them, just as it applies to all Dunkin' Donuts.

I'm sure at one point in time, when Dunkin' Donuts was small and their donuts were actually made on location, their donuts were probably fabulous. Unfortunately, those days are but distant memories. Most Dunkin' Donuts have their donuts prepared off-site and shipped in. This results in two consistent but unfortunate consequences:

1). Their donuts are at least 12 hours less fresh than those of a real donut shop, and if you are there later in the day, they are probably a full day less fresh. Since a donut has a lifespan like that of a tse-tse fly, eating one that is 12-24 hours old means you are eating a stale donut.

2). At any given time, the variety of donuts that a particular Dunkin' Donut has changes every day, so if you like a particular type of donut, good luck finding it with any sense of predictability.

What Dunkin' Donuts has done with donuts is typical big business, where corporate profits guide their decisions and eventually consumers just accept the inferior product.

My suggestion, for people who want a quality donut, is that you find a place like Neil's, in Wallingford, or any local independent donut shop. Once you reacquaint yourself with the taste of a fresh donut, you'll never tolerate a stale "corporate" donut again.

Great service, great product. Coffee is always fresh and so are the muffins. The drivethrough usually is pretty fast if you are in a rush.
