lovely spot, nice room, BUT, service was horrendous and the food was, at best, mediocre. wine list was okay for the venue, but they had no idea what to do with the wine and were out of the better selections

Our friends had made reservations for 4 in the bar for 7:30 on a Saturday night. Upon our arrival, we were told they did not have the reservation and mumbled something about the person who had been taking the reservations that day. We were seated in the dining room after being shuffled around. After being seated we waited even for water. Bread and butter was brought to the table but we had no silverware. The young lady that brought the silverware placed every piece by handling the utensil not by the handle, but by the part used to eat with. I had the French onion soup which was ok. One of the diners had shrimp cocktail which he reported to be ok also. Filet mignon and pork chop was reported to be good. The scallop and lobster ravioli was ok. Cheese requested for this dish arrived when the meal was more than half done. My dish was awful. I had the salad with medallions of beef well done with dressing on the side. The dish came drenched in dressing, the meat medium,at best and cold from the dressing being poured over it. The waitress offered to have the dish redone, but we have waited long enough for the meal to begin with. There was nothing offered but excuses. The busboy didn't show up, they were busier than expected.... Very disappointing. With so many good restaurants out there, they need to do much better than that to get customers to come back!

Family of three looking for a quick bite on a Saturday night after a youth sporting event. we went in dressed casually and was hoping to sit in the less casual part but there was not an open table and we were placed in the dining area. The staff was super nice and seemed busier than they thought they would be (some type of reunion being held on site). Ordered sandwiches for the adults and chicken tenders for the child- nothing fancy and it took well over 45 minutes to have the food delivered. Burger was fair and the chicken tenders were overcooked- the problem was the wait for the food.......

We really like this restaurant. We met another couple for a glass a wine and stayed for dinner. I am stil not sure why they do nto have a bar menu or why the bartenders are not ore engaging - but when I asked the waitress and receptionist if we could have a table for dinner they were very gracious and accommodating.

As looked over the menu's we saw a table have the prime rib dinner served. Good thing as it was not on the menu or the specials list - but it looked good and we tried it. Fantastic! With au jus and very tasty side plate of spaghetti squash and potatoes - wonderful. My wife had the chicken with sausage and was wowed and our friend had the salmon summer pasta - - finished!!

The waitress was efficient, friendly and engaging and at the end of the dinner she came out with the chef who was truly interested in what we thought and told of us more changes he was going to focus on.

I wish we had room fro dessert!

We will be back!
