This is not your run-of-the-mill restaurant! Never had I been to anything like this place! Plan to be relaxed and totally full when you leave!

This restaurant is a wonderful place to have a small initmate dinner with your significant other. The menu is very limited due to the fact that the owners cooke/bake all the food at the restaurant but everything on the menue is superb. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy and charming. A perfect venue for that special occasion.

Ambiance, provenance; just very good. Exquisitely prepared dishes and served on not-my-typical table. The place breathes upscale but is quite friendly in cozy settings.

In season, you start your lunch with a cacktail on the deck that overlooks several pastures where cattle, 3 sheep, several minature donkies and a horse graze peacefully. The view down to the pond is idyllic. Lunch is served in the old barn in one of the cozy dining rooms. The service is excellent and unhurried. I started with the cauliflower bisque, which was creamy and spiced just right. My husband had the borscht and he couldn't stop raving about it. My main course was the special of the day - duck pot pie. The crust was light and fluffy and the pie was packed with chunks of duck and seasonal vegetables. My husband had their signature tenderloin hash dish. Both were wonderful. We topped it off with pumpkin cheese cake that was as light as a feather. This was our second visit for lunch and it won't be out last.
