A friend that we traveled with recommended this hotel as they had stayed here when it was a Clarion. We weren't sure how it would be, but we were pleasantly surprised. We booked this hotel due to it being a mile away from Lake Compounce. This hotel was very clean and had friendly service. Really liked the salt water pool and hot tub. A little expensive, but worth it! Definitely would stay at this hotel again.

We spent 10 nights/11 days in this hotel for the Eastern Regional Baseball Tournament. It was three of us staying there. The warm cookies on check in and throughout our stay were a nice touch. Decor was very updated and modern. Rooms were clean, spacious (we had 2 queen beds) and comfortable. Only negative on room was mattresses were too firm for our liking but that is a personal preference. The walls were very soundproof for us. Elevator wait time was almost nonexistent even though the hotel was booked solid. There is no complimentary breakfast and room service charges are high (20% of total), but we just went elsewhere for food with no problems. Salt water pool was very nice as was hot tub. Pool water was always cold but the area was kept so clean and nice that you got over water temp. Gym area was also very nice and state of the art. I would have given this hotel a 5 star rating if it hadn't been for housekeeping issues. Our room was completely over looked for cleaning one day, we had extremely late cleanings other days (supper time), and housekeeping staff with a bad attitude. As aggravating as this was, one housekeeping employee, Alexis, was so amazing! He came by to check on us, apologize, bring us extra cookies, anything he could think of to make it up to us, even though it wasn't his fault and he wasn't even the manager. 5 stars to him!!! When I called down to guest services they had someone there to take care of our room in less than 2 minutes. Overall, I would recommend staying there and I would go again.

This is a great value, with a fantastic breakfast buffet or order off the menu, and a phenomenal fitness room with lots of great equipment. Our family of five really enjoyed our stay and we were pleased with everything.

Feels like a pretty new facility and everything is in perfect condition and very clean.

We had made reservations here to follow a day at Lake Compounce. We had been here before when it was a different brand and it looks very different now. The lobby is beautiful and inviting. The front desk clerk was very nice, signed us in quickly and gave us our cookies, which were delicious!

Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was lovely and modern. There was Evelyn and Crabtree soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion which smelled great! Plenty of clean, white towels, and I mean they were super white! The bath tub was sparkling clean! I did notice, however, that over showering there was some black specks in the tub, which I assume was from the water.

Across from the bathroom was a counter with an ice bucket; two glasses; a Keurig; four disposable coffee cups; cup lids; packets with sugar, creamer, stirrers; additional cream; four coffee K cups; and two tea K cups. Beneath the counter was some storage space and a mini fridge.

Next to the counter was a nice size closet with several hangers, There was also an iron, ironing board, and safe. There was one electrical outlet opposite the closet. Trying to iron there would be quite tight, I think.

Our room had standard drawers and a nice, big flat screen tv. There was also a desk with chair, desk lamp, and desk phone. On the side of the desk was two electrical outlets and data ports. There was an additional chair in the room, which was quite comfy, and a small table next to it. There was a night stand with a lamp, phone, and alarm clock, which also had an docking station. The two queen beds were very comfortable, however, the pillows were terrible. I had difficulty sleeping because of the pillows.

The only real problem I had was there were no electrical outlets near the full length mirror. I could have dried my hair there while someone else showered, but since there was no outlet near the room mirror, I had to dry my hair in the bathroom which meant someone else had to wait for me to be done before showering.

Thank you for your review and comprehensive comments. We will share them with our team. How do we keep our towels so white? We keep that a trade secret along with our cookie recipe! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and shared your experience with others. We hope to see you again very soon.

Hotel did not honor reservation request for connecting rooms Reason given was a Little League team had taken all the rooms. The Hotel certainly had to know when I booked the reservation that the team was staying & should have informed me I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known The staff made no real attempt at check-in to accommodate us

We had a great stay after my cousin's wedding. The after party started at the hotel bar and continued up in her private suite. Our room was enormous and we slept so well after a long night of celebrating!
