Visited with my 17,13,and 11 yr old kids and they had an awesome time. They said they would love to come back again. Not for younger than 11yr olds but I everyone should visit at least once.

Lake Compounce is a great place for a fun day. They always have free soda all day long no matter when you go. A good variety of places to eat from whether its pizza to mexican food to chicken tenders and fries you wont go hungry! They have a really nice water park and even a ne addition where you can race down the water slide against other people too. A good roller coaster to go on is Boulder Dash! Lots of fun! Other then roller coasters, they have thrill rides, a log flume, classic car drive on a track. I highly recommend Lake Compounce!

A lot of Lake Compounce's charm lies in its natural elements: a lake and a mountain; the owners would do well to preserve them. We are not happy with the loss of the historic carousel building and horses, the loss of the vintage arcade games, and the loss of some of the classic rides.

That being said, though, we make a point to return each year for the Haunted Graveyard and buy a reasonably priced combo ticket so that we can go on the rides, too. Ghost Hunt is a must-do, so get in line early. The Boulderdash is mandatory for any rollercoaster enthusiast. For those who get summers off, the season passes pay for themselves in just a couple of visits.

Took a chance to check out the Graveyard haunted adventrue at LC. Absolutely worth the money. A 45 minute walk through various themed scenes with a constant barage of horrifying and many times funny sites. Very safe and the staff is very conscious of ensuring that no one is touched by the "scare actors" or injured. In my opinion not for young children under about 10 only because they may not sleep for a few nights after the walk. Hollywood production quality in many of the scenes that will stun and scare even the most jaded. Couple of hints: Arrive early and try to hit the attraction no later than 8. After that the line becomes very long and you still have a 45 walk through the attraction. Do the rides after the Graveyear. Do not be the one to lead unless you are constantly on the lookout. If you are in the middle or end of a group be aware. Expect to get a good cardio workout from all the screams and laughter. Get the ticket for rides and the Graveyard because it is a bargain.
