Long sandy Beach, great for early morning walking in a safe location. Wonderful location for an outdoor cook out or family gathering.

Great views but watch out for broken glass. Sidewalk broken up because of storms. But something to do in Bridgeport on a nice day.

Even on a cold November day Seaside Park still exudes a magical charm no other beach does. From its super clean sand to its fantastic views this park sure knows how to please .

Very nice park with many newly redone areas. Only soft sand beach in CT. Low tide offers great water walking out 50ft into LI sound with almost no rocks to cut your feet only snails, the occasional clam or muscle. Bath houses are new with plenty of parking. Historic design by man who designed Washington DC, many monuments and sculptures. At far end, walk the half mile brake water out to the old lighthouse(rundown, and a bit rugged walk, but fun). A bit scary at night, but beautiful, so make it a day trip with the kids. Use the Park avenue entrance as it is prettier and avoids "rougher" neighborhoods.
