This is a really good place to go you and you go here whenever you want. The service was spectacular. We didn't wait a long time for our orders. The ambiance was amazing. There were two arcade games, Pac Man and the claw. You can draw on place mats and everything is old fashioned. The food was just fantastic. The crispy chicken was great, so were the onion rings and french fries. The black and white milk shake was the best! The price was reasonable. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST PLACE!!!!

“Classic Bethel restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

One of the classic car hop style restaurants. Food was always pretty good, greasy spoon type. I haven't been back in a while, but rootbeer floats were always good here.

Excellent burgers and the best root beer ever! Curb service and 1950's atmosphere. A real gem in the heart of Bethel.

“Diner fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

Old school diner specializing in "French style" burgers freshly prepared. Not gourmet but tasty and well prepared.

“Better get the double cause a single won't be enough”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2014

I expected the usual burger joint but the food here is so much better than that. I never saw a burger so flat and asked the waitress about it. She simply said "order the double!" It was delicious and not too much food. The wait staff are teens from town and very polite. Its clearly got a lot of history in the décor, but it could use a little updating....no matter, for most, its the food here that brings us back again and again.......it's worth a try, but don't go on a weekend night the first time-go when its quieter so you can enjoy the simplicity of it all.............and remember to tip the kids!
