“So so food, surly service, and a new maxim: " The smaller the plate, the longer the wait"”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013 via mobile

Pre movie dinner with friends. Made it clear that we had a deadline. "No worry" was the response. Bottom line, we ate some very average tapas while sitting in our seats in the theater. Food, while certainly better than popcorn, was so so. The prices were high. The service downright surly. Ambiance, in the restaurant, was okay, but we ate by movie light.
Learned our lesson - sticking to Junior Mints for our next cinema meal. Will wait until a "new owner" sign appears on this establishment.

“Terrible!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

The worst dining experience I've had in recent memory; the food was over-seasoned and one dish was under-cooked; they put alcohol which contained gluten in a dish which was labelled as "gluten-free" on the menu; the place was pitch-black, with no lighting to speak of and bad R&B and salsa music blaring out of the ceiling; the CREEPY chef and kitchen staff kept noticeably staring, leering and giggling at us from the kitchen; and next to us was a table of obnoxious people who were noticeably drunk and were screaming at the top of their lungs. On top of that the prices were insane. So, a dark, seedy, horrible, over-priced dive with awful food...the bottom of the barrel. AVOID at all costs!!!!

“An Interesting Way To Eat and Great Staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

Having a selection of different foods is a new way for us to eat. We really enjoyed it. The dishes were wonderful. We had the Walnut salad and Greek salads, and shared the mushrooms (incredible), chicken with artichokes (excellent), chicken empanadas (excellent) and flourless chocolate cake (amazing). The server was wonderful, as were her peers, who chipped in. A great dining experience, and it is right next door to the best movie theatre in Fairfield County; Bethel Cinema.

“Inventive Cuisine & Great Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

This was our 2nd visit. This was a "dinner & a movie" night out. Tapas menu changes and has varied seasonal choices. Value is excellent including reasonable wine choices. Inform your server of a movie time and they will work to have you across the lobby to the theater in time for your show. Thursday evening is great deal when a movie ticket is free for each $25 spent.

“Below average - in every way”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

We love tapas restaurants - but this one disappoints. The atmosphere was ok -- nothing great - very small, but ok. The service was severly lacking. Very slow, inexperienced wait staff. Wouldn't let us have a larger table, though there were many available. The food was less than good - in fact, we simply could not eat one of the dishes sent to the table - it was that bad. And they don't serve Sangria. What kind of a tapas place doesn't serve Sangria?!?
