This great most reliable addition to the area invariably produces the best breads done on the premises on daily basis, using superb ingredients. They also produce the most delicious fruit pies and cakes. I particularly like their apple tarts and some of their cakes. Try it, you will go back again and again...

We feel lucky to live so close to Bantam Bread Company. Everything, from their breads to their granola are consistently unique and delicious. We love it so much that when friends are in town, we always take for a treat at Bantam Break Company.

bantam bread is incredible. every time you walk in you are greeted by attentive staff. the aroma is irresistible: freshly baked bread and pastries. they even have organic dog treats. I love the "dirty bombs": moist muffins covered in delectable cinnamon sugar. I have never been disappointed at bantam bread. They are truly artisans of bread! go there!

This small, very special bakery is right on the main road (Route 202) south of Litchfield. Among other appealing attractions in Bantam, this is one not to miss. Any bread you choose will be a treat. You'll also find delicious sweets--beautiful tarts and good cookies, a refrigerated case with a wide array of cheeses and a selection of artisanal cooking oils. The parking lot is tiny and rutted--which somehow adds to the out-in-the-country charm of the place--and there's a nice view of a rushing river as you head from the lot to the door. We've been here many times; driving home, the smell of freshly baked bread is often irresistible and a hunk gets ripped off while we're still in the car.

Delicious fresh baked breads with a decent selection! Located in the center of Bantam close to many other great little stops.
