“Cheese, Ice Cream, What could be better?”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

The cheeses are amazing! One of my favorites is the basket cheese. It is perfect to bring as an appetizer. And the ice cream...Wow!

“Gourmet Dairy from Happy Cows”
Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here on a warm summer eveing, after dinner with out-of-town friends.

What fun, picking out your cone, with their sparkling "factory" just behind glass walls. Staff very friendly - first rate attitudes. We sat on stone steps, watching people and munching our ice cream cones. A terrific "cap" to our night out.

We all enjoyed the ice cream, but even more, appreciate owners' apparent care for their animals. Arethusa's dairy farm, at the other end of town, is absolutely gorgeous.

“Very good”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

Make sure to order egg nog for the holidays. It comes in glass bottles, and is delicious. The ice cream is good too. I choose to get a thick milkshake and was very happy

“Arethusa opens top of the scale Al Tavolo”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Had the privilege of attending the "Soft Open" for Arethusa's new Al Tavolo restaurant, separated from their 'Amazing' Dairy and Ice cream by a beautiful muraled patio. We were seated adjacent to a representative from their Norwalk-based seafood supplier, and got the lowdown on their delicious razor clam appetizer which I tried. The Crostini trio was delicious and varied, while my wife enjoyed the tempura squash blossoms. 2 in my party ordered the veal tenderloin medalions, while my 3-year old granddaughter enjoyed the ditalini pasta. I had Pekin Duck - my misconception of the spelling was corrected with a smile - accompanied by the barley-like farro and a light taste of kumquat.
Dessert was excellent and featured their rich ice creams - probably the best rum raisin I've ever tasted. They have delicious biscotti, and a passion fruit tart was well received.
The menu prices will restrict many people from attending, but for those who are willing and able to pull out all the stops for a memorable evening, Al Tavolo is the place to go!

“Fresh Ice Cream & Chocolate Milk”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

Fresh ice cream was great! You can see the dairy operation through a window and everything is so clean. They make their own waffle cones which are a must if your splurging on the ice cream. The chocolate milk is like a time machine, it will instantly transport you back to your 8 year old self riding your big wheel running in to get chocolate milk. Yummy!
