My family was invited to the Edgewood Inn for Thanksgiving. This was our first experience with a Bed & Breakfast and we absolutely loved it!!! I agree with the last post, Kathy & Dean are amaing cooks and Yes we did get to try Dean's famous breakfast potatoes. We loved the large wrap around porch with the mountain view. We stayed on the lower level with the mountain views. The rooms are very spacious and well spaced throughout the house. It was private when we wanted it but also easy to find some friendly company when looking for it. We brought our 2 year old daughter with us and Kathy was so welcoming to her that she had a little friend in the kitchen helping. We used our fair share of the movie theatre, the seats are so comfortable you won't be able to get out either. We were close enough to town to go explore, but enjoyed being more remote for the peaceful views. Thanks again for a great vacation, we can't wait to come back some day.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast located in the city above the clouds.(Woodland Park,Co) We arrived late Sunday evening and were greeted by our host Dean. Dean took us on a lovely tour of the Inn. The property is breath taking and the pictures truly don't do it justice. James the inn keeper prepared a wonderful tray of snacks for us upon our arrival accompanied with beer and wine. I can't say enough about the hospitality from Dean, Cathy, and James. Dean and Cathy were there to answer all our questions and exceeded our expectations in every way. Located in the National Forest Dean and Cathy even showed us the trails right out the back door. We stayed in the Loft and it was truly amazing!!! Both beds(one being an air mattress in a sleeper sofa) were very comfy. The views are unbelievable. The room was very spacious, and really resembled a small apartment with all the comforts of home. The only complaint we have(besides leaving) would be the lack of a TV in the room.
The breakfast was fantastic!!!!! Deans potatoes are amazing!!!! Cathy knows her way around the kitchen making healthy, but delicious meals. That way you can eat more potatoes...lol This is truly a special place, and having traveled to many different Inn's throughout the United States this is hands down my favorite. The price is right, and there are an endless array of amenities there for one to use.

Room Tip: The Loft is the most spacious.
