The Wolcott Yacht Club has been around for a number of years. They really seem to have their act together. The staff are friendly and do a great job taking care of you. They have a large out door eating area as well as cozy indoor seating. This seems to be a favorite for people bicycling Hwy 6 between Avon and Eagle. The food is good and well worth the drive over there.

Frankly there is not much in the area, and for that alone it is worth a star just for it existence. The food is good, and the menu is broad. There is music and the bar is nice. Will return.

Ate there twice in one week... so good. The fish tacos are amazing. Great atmosphere and service both inside and out. Loved the patio on a summer Saturday night with live music. Reminded me of Austin, TX in the good old days.
It's worth the drive but be careful at night.

We stopped for lunch at this local favorite and loved it! We enjoyed outdoor dining on a large patio with great ambiance and the food was delicious! Don't miss the fish and chips or the fish tacos...Yum!

The yacht club (no yachts, just a name) has been a Vail valley staple for many years but was closed last summer. Now a new chef has opened it up again. Right now it's just for the summer but hopefully they will stay open year round. The new menu is fabulous, the outdoor patio is the best in the valley and the beers are great. They have both a small plate and larger plate menu. For lunch we had the daily special soup (tomato bisque with lobster, yum), fish tacos and a salad. It's a but off the highway but worth finding. Even is all you want is a beer and a seat in the shade it's worth the trip. Have something to eat anyway, you won't be sorry.
