The outdoor and indoor open air seating gives a nice view of the mountains. The food was average at best. Which was too bad. We had breakfast and the corned beef hash seemed " out of the can" and my hollandaise sauce tasted like a cheap mix. If the place stepped up the quality of the food it would be highly recommended as a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately right now it is not.

We were so impressed with Carvers last year, we had to go back. The new location is very nice, even though the patio is in the parking lot. It is still nice to eat outside when we're in the mountains. The service was a little slow this visit, but when we did get our breakfast we were not disappointed. Their egg scrambles are "eggcellent".

This restaurant is in downtown Winter Park and can be a bit hard to find, but is well worth the effort. We only visited for breakfast, but the restaurant offers a huge breakfast menu, along with morning libations. My husband says the Bloody Mary is excellent. The menu features many mexican breakfast foods, as well as traditional foods. There are many types of Benedicts you can order (vegetarian and meat) - I tried the Potato Benedict (no english muffin). The hollandaise sauce was perfect - just the right amount of lemon to make it yummy. The portions are oversize and the menu prices are very reasonable!

Carvers has moved. They now have more room to feed all the people that have come to love this place. We enjoyed our visit in August with the same great food we have always appreciated at Carvers.

Great new location ... much bigger, less waiting. Wondering cinnamon rolls and french toast. Kind service. Great with kids.
