The restaurant / bar excels at beer (brewed on site) but did not have many choices for appetizers. We had the quesadilla which was veggie and cheese only with no option for adding anything like chicken. My husband is a meat eater so this was not a big hit (and was a little dry). But, he liked the Station's beer!

We've been customers of chef Tom Kresler for the last 4 years when we
purchased a second home in Grand County. When we found out that he
had been hired at Moffat Station this fall, we couldn't wait to follow him there.
His creativity and ability to put a menu together that is not only high quality
but also at a very reasonable is superb! We know that he will turn Moffat
Station into Grand County's best dining experience! We love his "specials"
which keep the menu dynamic. HIs peronal attention to his customers make
you feel you have a pesonal chef!

My husband and I stayed at the Winter Park Hotel in which Moffat Station is located. We were pleasantly surprised by the incredible dinners we ordered. The menu is limited, but the food is EXCELLENT. The head chef visited our table and shared his "secret" to the Colorado Bass entree (which was amazing). We were so impressed by our meals that we returned the next night. Once again, we were very impressed by our meals. (I ordered a Caesar salad and wings, and my husband ordered the Trout salad.)

I will note that the Doc Susie beer we shared was good the first night, but very different the second night. Our waiter gave us a Fat Tire as a replacement - no questions asked. He also agreed to test the in-house brew.

To call this a brewery is an overshot. There were 2 beers on tap, an IPA and an Amber, and they both tasted like pickle juice (they were also the same color). We did not stay to eat after seeing the pricey menu, but on the way out walked by the chef's meeting where 2 were saying they were embarrassed by the example dish, and another was discussing difficulties in printing the correct menu.

Good place if you can't get into town, but there are much better options if you drive 5 minutes.

We ate there once. It was poor quality, greasy food. Not much choice on the menu. Staff were relatively friendly. We did not eat the again.
