The Vintage Resort Hotel & Conference Center

We've stayed at the Vintage twice, both times found it very clean and the desk staff are very nice. Indoor bike storage with claim checks for your bike, a bonus if you are there in the summer. The outdoor pool and hot tub are fantastic, the hot tub is the size of a small swimming pool and they're open until 10PM. The hotel restaurant is a bit lackluster (more like a bar that serves food) but it's an easy and free gondola ride down to the main resort restaurants. Really low prices in the summer, a good option in Winter Park!

The Vintage is an older resort-type hotel that has been kept in good shape. Our suite had a bedroom with two queens, an eating area, and a full bath, plus a second room with a fireplace, murphy bed (double), eating area, full kitchen, and full bath. We spent a lot of time out and about so didn't take advantage of a lot of the hotel's services, but it was a big, clean space for our family of five. Plenty of extra towels and pillows, plenty of space, and gorgeous views of the mountain. If we hadn't gone to eat the best pizza in the state (Check out Hernando's, right up the highway), we would have loved having the full kitchen. A hidden bonus: Just across the highway is an accessible trailhead that was perfect for a short evening hike with the kids. Lots of flowers, some birds and small critters to see, and a stream to play in. We will stay here again when we come back!

I have stayed at the Vintage numerous times in Winter and Summer. Each time I am hoping for a better stay. But despite the lure of a woodburning fireplace and in-room kitchenette with dishwasher, I am always disappointed. The rooms are always filthy. Dusty, dog hair from previous guests everywhere and hair and who knows what else on the bathroom sink/vanity/and toilets. Even cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The bedding is musty. They have no King beds available. The queen murphy beds are the worst I have ever slept on. Stiff and dirty. I have to bring my own disinfecting wipes and bathroom cleaners before I even feel comfortable staying in the room. I would call housekeeping to come reclean, but if that is the best they could do the 1st time why would they clean any better if we call them back? Anyway, we have gone back b/c they take dogs, have a nice pool and hot tub and an excellent location. Remodel and get some real King beds and new cleaning procedures implemented and it might actually be an enjoyable stay.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a School ski trip. The location, next to a lift which takes you virtually to the slopes was ideal, but it has to be said that for prettiness of situation it's not that great. The rooms are huge, with small kitchens and the food is ok but not spectacular. While we were there, there were several other school groups so bear this in mind when considering the likelihood of general noise around the hotel

great value, great location for skiing with cabriolet from door to winter park village (short walk to lift/slopes).

room combination tried was livingroom (with sofa bed and murphy bed) and loft with bedroom off - two bathrooms and showers. also had open gas fire and kitchenette with dining space. also upgraded to 2 bed/2 bathroom/livingroom which was great value with kitchenette and larger dining space. livingroom had open real fire.

staff work hard and room service is very efficient.

on site facilities include restaurant, games room, pool room, o/s swimming pool and tub, sauna and gym.

plenty of restaurants within easy drive or by cabriolet (runs til 6ish)

an add extra is ski lockers. parking is outside but no shortage of space.

We were looking for a clean hotel close to the slopes and the Vintage fit the bill perfectly. (It's not a quaint snow lodge just to hang out and sip cocoa.) No frills, just a clean (very clean) and secure place to sleep after skiing. The beds as mentioned are not great. Also the hotel could be a bit noisy but everything seemed to quiet down after 10 pm. Lot's of families staying at the hotel and it did not have a party vibe. Our rate was about 90 dollars per night and given the price and location I would definetly stay there again.

This place is a nice place for the money it is close to the ski hill. The rooms are big and clean. The hot tub is very large and is located outside. It could use some updates like the bed. I would stay here again.
