We love this place! Rooms are nice and clean. On-site ski rentals and covered parking. We loved having a drink at the bar while watching the kids play in the pool. There are also two game rooms to keep kids occupied. We loved the restaurant...excellent Paella.

We exchanged for this resort through RCI. Since I've been a member of RCI since 1979, I never know what to expect when I exchange. Silverado II was a nice surprise. The unit had two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The furnishings were tasteful and of good quality. The front desk staff was very helpful, and best of all, we were not bothered once by even a whiff of a suggestion that we attend a timeshare presentation. The resort is near Rocky Mountain National Park which we explored at length. Saw plenty of elk and dahl sheep at high rages. One night we even saw a mama moose and her baby moose right outside the town of Winter Park. The resort has an indoor pool which we did not use because we were so busy sightseeing in the area. The unit's kitchen was stocked well with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. if you're into cooking. We're into eating out and Winter Park and the surroundng area have plenty of restaurants. Another big bonus was NO MOSQUITOS, even in August.. There is a terrific hot springs and spa about 40 minutes away in Hot Sulphur Springs which was definitely worth the visit.

- Great high-altitude getaway: the Mountains were Calling this midwest family
- Front desk folks were very helpful
- Condo offers excellent bang-for-the-buck in the off-season (WAY more than a hotel)
- VERY roomy: Open kitchen area/dining room/living room, 2 BR, 2bath, could have slept 8!
- Clean, well-equipped unit, laundry rooms downstairs,
- Fraser River and Rockies and Hiking/Biking trails nearby
- Good restaurants in Winter Park, CO
- Felt awesome to NEED to take a light jacket / sweater out at night in July!
- Temps were 70s by day, 50s at night (and NO mosquitoes)
- Jazz Fest in town was a plus!

If you are looking for a cheap, but decent, place to stay in Winter Park this is it. New granite coutertops, new stainless steel appliances, furniture, etc. Fireplace was a nice bonus. Small balconies off every bedroom AND a larger one off the living room. The price cannot be beat. It is not the Ritz, but then again you are not paying Ritz' prices. If you want a good value for your $$ this is it.
