“Very nice stay”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

We stayed 1 night in Winter Park and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere here. The room was plenty spacious enough for the 2 of us. There are plenty of things to do close by within walking distance. Little place across the small pond is called Goody's. We ate dessert the night we were there and breakfast the next morning. Excellent! Enjoyed our stay!

We arrived late at night having travelled all day, at first I was a little disappointed as I thought we were staying Fraser crossing, but the next day I realised how lucky we were , we were in an end condo with our own separate entrance. It was peaceful and quiet and spacious. The only downside is when you are walking back with your skis and pass Fraser crossing. The condo was cleaned regularly, towels changed, coffee replaced along with to els. Nothing like staying in France!

Great location, clean, very nice rooms, fully equipped kitchen, We had a blast!!! The only reason I gave Founder's Pointe a 4 out of 5 was that the noise (ski boots and kids) in the hallway started around 6 am in the morning and was incredibly loud. Other than that the staff was very friendly and helpful, the location and amenities were fabulous, and my particular point of note was the bed and bedding - excellent!

Room Tip: Park on level 1. The ski lockers are on that floor as well as the main entrance / exit to the mounta...

My family just returned from a seven day stay at FP condos. In a nutshell it was an incredible experience. The condos are new, well planned out and clean. We stayed in a two bed, two bath that looked out onto the ice skating pond. We were literally 100 yards from ski rental, private lesson center and main chair lift. The kitchen was well equipped and even had its own washer and dryer. We have stayed at condos in several ski resorts, but this was by far the best of them all. Would highly recommend.

Only minus was a daily parking fee of $14 which was not disclosed until checkout. Seems rather ticky-tack.

Just got here but happy with our unit # 4466, a one bedroom unit. We are the type who want to ski all day. We take lunch at our condo to save a few bucks but eat out a few nights when we have the energy. We like how modern the unit is. Wish we had a washer/dryer in the unit and the fridge was s bit bigger. But so far so good.

A bit confusing to check in across the street at another resort, but once you figure it out, you're OK. I am a little Closter phobic, when we pulled into the parking garage and the automatic door closed behind us, I couldn’t breathe. Not their fault, it’s me, but if you are Closter phobic at all – do not pull in the garage! Once I found the fresh air, I was absolutely fine! I loved using the laundry room as this was at the end of our vacation and had a pile of it! The little lobby always smelled fresh like cinnamon. The rooms were comfortable (the first one had a cracked toilet seat and we were quite a distance from the elevator). I would ask for one close to elevator. Hot tub looked nice, but we didn’t use it. Restaurants were over priced at the village. We ordered burgers and soft drinks for 4 and it was close to $100. We drove to the ‘town’ and shopped at the grocery store. The kitchenette came in handy. Probably a great place to stay in winter!

Room Tip: Ask for close to elevator or you may be a mile away!

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom unit with a balcony. The unit was super clean and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the resort and the third floor hot tub area. The location is perfect and we will definitely be back.
