I've walked the Windsor Lake Trail for years. It is a beautiful 2.65 paved trail around a lake that is inhabited by geese, eagles, pelicans, ducks and other water fowl. The fishing must be pretty good because there are always fisher-people on the shoreline. The Town of Windsor works hard to maintain the area and offers trash cans and dog-poop baggies at convenient intervals. Leash laws are enforced and followed by almost everyone.Real public restrooms and a concession stand are open during the late spring to early fall seasons. The wonderful view of the mountains while walking this trail reminds me why I live in this beautiful area.
