Dropped by to try for the first time on Saturday for lunch. Crowd was small, perhaps 12 people with 8 sitting at one table in the bar area. Restaurant is small with tables crowded together. I'm sure if its crowded you are sharing conversations with neighboring tables whether you want to or not.
Order conch chowder, lobster bisque and a lobster roll for our meal. Soups arrived quickly as would be expected with the small crowd. Overall both were average. The conch chowder had plenty of potato's, celery, carrots but only two small piece of conch and was a little fishy tasting versus others I have had. The lobster roll arrived and looked very nice with good chuncks of lobster. However that as good as it got. It was very bland, the roll it was served on was soggy and fell apart when you attempted to pick it up. I was very disappointed. Finally the bill came and with tip lunch of two cups of soup, one lobster roll and one soda totalled just under $36. Very expensive for what I would say is average seafood at best. Don't think we will return. There are better places in the Denver area that serve better.

We went on Sunday for lunch. The Oysters were watery but OK expensive even on happy hour. The patio had only 2 umbrellas so we couldn't sit out there are planned it was too hot. We ordered 2 beers at $5.00 each for Corona Light!!! Drinks are expensive. The sword fish club @ $14.00 was delightful but the home made potato chips were soggy and under cooked....gross. For what we spent we could have had steak and lobster with more than 2 beers. The food is good but over priced. The interior decorating of the place was cold and uninviting....don't think we will go back. Even though JAX is 15 miles away it is worth the drive...

The fish is on the line, in the boat, on ice, to the airport and on your plate in 24 hours--can't get any fresher than that in Colorado. Growing up in Florida, I really miss fresh Gulf shrimp--not previously frozen and soggy on your plate. This place has really great seafood dishes, but the fresh shrimp cocktail is just like you are sitting on the Gulf of Mexico eating the fresh catch. This place also has a fish market where you can buy fresh seafood and cook it at home. Try the seared red snapper but ask for it on saffron rice instead of the usual white rice they normally serve it on--it is awesome. One thing to remember is that some foods have a cajun flair, so you may want to discuss with the wait staff or the owner, Paul, about the flavor if you are not use to cajun seasoning. I only point this out because the lobster bisque and the lobster roll may not be the taste you are expecting--it is not New England, there is definitely a Creole taste. It has a busy bar, outdoor patio. You have to look for it because it is in a "strip mall" set back on the north side of 120th. Also the crab cakes are really outstanding. If you like fresh seafood you definitely should stop by and you will find several things on the menu that you will appreciate.

Spent two hours here and never received our order, first time in over 30 years that has ever happened to me at a restaurant.

Bigger concern was that our waiter completely stopped checking on us. After making two trips to the counter and talking to the manager, we decided to leave. Our ticket never made it to the kitchen, even after we had requested status twice !
