“Great Comfort Food on a Snowy Day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014 via mobile

Very close to my hotel this was an no-brainer on a winter evening for a weary traveler. The salad bar is extensive. The wide selection of soups from around the world guarantee finding something for everyone. A baked potato is another great option with lots of toppings. Various types of bread are very tempting. The desserts are delicious. If you are wanting a good hot meal with comfort foods this is a great option. Likewise, very reasonable on price.

“Awesome salad bar”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

We stopped here while out running errands for something quick, but not fast food. The selection was fresh and a wide variety. The soup was the best part though. All different kinds!

“Here Rabbit Rabbit!:”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

Some friends turned me on to Sweet Tomatoes. The entrance leads to a HUGE buffet of nothing but rabbit food. There is a mixture of already made salads, and some you can make on your own. I was skeptical at first, but the price was right. You start with a tray, and a plate that is like the ones in high school. The plate has compartments so a place is provide for each salad treat. Mine was full by the cash register. Oh, this greenery is GOOD! After seating myself, it was time for soup and hot foods. Most of the soup is very flavorful, and well made. There is a bakery area with fresh breads and butter. After noon, baked potatoes appear in the hot food area. There is even an ice cream machine and sundae bar for dessert.
Since this is a buffet, service is a bit difficult to rate. The table was kept clear of empty dishes; and the dining room was orderly.
Atmosphere is masses of screaming kids that are out of control. Their parents clearly have no pride in proper restaurant behavior. This is true of the other Sweet Tomatoes I have eaten at also. If you can put up with out of control brats; this is not a problem.
Yes, I do recommend this restaurant. I always return because of the variety. I have learned to tolerate the kids now. For rabbit food this is the place to go. Your nose will twitch with delight at the wonderful food they serve.

“Always fresh.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

And something for everyone. Start with well furnished salad bar but don't load up and not leave room for multi varieties of soup and pasta! Deserts do the trick, although not spectacular. And consider it a bonus if chocolate chip cookies should appear. Lastly, every month brings something special.
