“Great addition to a wonderful little town - good food & service too!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

Six of us went up to Wellington to get our first experience at the fairly new "Wellington Grill" and we were all pleased with the experience. Our visit was smooth from beginning to end - we were quickly greeted and seated and our drink orders were immediately taken. We were given an appropriate amount of time to go over the menu and were promptly requested to place our order. The server was very polite, friendly, and interacted with us with humor and professionalism but most importantly everything was brought out as ordered. The food was delivered hot and it was all tasty and fulfilling. Nobody was displeased - what a good experience.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone they try this place and I am looking forward to revisiting it myself very soon. I personally enjoy old buildings and how creative minds make those surroundings in to a fun and enjoyable setting. There are also many televisions which were focused on some current games being played.
Although it was too chilly to enjoy the outdoor seating we could see it and imagine how great that atmosphere would be on a beautiful Colorado summer day.

“Nice small town surprise!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

Clean and updated. Not a large place but very busy with seating at the bar, booths, a couple of tables or the nice patio area. Food was delicious and our server was friendly. $10-$12 for burgers & a bit more for dinner plates, standard kids menu.

“Enjoyable dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Spent several days in Wellington this summer and every local person we asked told us we should eat here. They were right! We sat outside on the patio which is shaded by a huge tree. We're from Texas and being able to sit outside and eat in the summer with no pesky mosquitoes or searing heat was most enjoyable. They had a good selection of Colorado beers on tap. We both had the fish and chips. The fish was 2 huge perfectly fried pieces. The potatoes tasted fresh. Would definitely go back if I find myself near Wellington again.

“Little Town Big Stuff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

I've been meaning to stop in this place. It looks inviting from the outside. So we went tonight. A bar yes, a full bar, but the "grill" part is great too. Natural stone walls, tin roof and antler lighting. Oh yes, lots of dead animals on the wall. If you can get past that, you are in the right place. Local beers, burgers, pasta, steaks sandwiches etc. The outdoor patio looked good and we'll try in nest time. Attentive, but not cloying service. My burger was good. Looking forward to my next stop. Ahhhh, a really good place to go in Wellington!
