We have stayed here several times to ski at the end of the season. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean and great location. Free breakfast is great and after skiing the hottub works wonders with a nice view of the mountains and the street below.

First off thanks to the owner as well as to Jen and Andrea. We were there recently on business and the entire staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations on both a personal level, as well as business.
-As for the business portion; they helped with everything from, assisting us with onsite parking, to use of their fax machine and stored our packages that were delivered.
- On a personal level, the breakfast was a treat, then the downstairs living area hosted great cold water during all times (our crew was not adjusted to their altitude, so this was great) and they also offered great espresso (Lavazza machine) , all great little things to start your day off right. The rooms were clean, modern and had great views on all angels. I look forward to another great retreat here on my off time!

Room Tip: REQUEST the creekside view, it was peaceful & BEAUTIFUL

In the context of a community that just celebrated 50 years of existence, this 40-year-old hotel actually qualifies as historic. Its location, in the heart of Vail Village along Gore Creek, couldn't be better for those who love to explore on foot. The genuinely warm staff bends over backwards to accommodate requests for everything from room changes to mouthwash. Clean, comfortable, friendly and convenient.

Room Tip: "Mountain view" rooms are really more "pool view." Creek side rooms are probably your better value.

This hotel has everything but pretense. It is perfectly located, right on THE pedestrian street in Vail and all rooms have lovely balconies (some are shared). Our room on the mountain side was a little noisy at night (we were there on a Saturday night!). It is a bit quieter on the creek side. But the mountain view was beautiful and it was fun to watch the clouds and weather pass over the mountain. They have a nice pool and hot tub too.
The breakfast included hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, coffee of course...and the small but cozy breakfast room also included some overstuffed chairs/couches. One of the nicest amenities was their free underground parking...they also got our room ready early as we requested! All in all a perfect place to stay - especially if you want to save your money for the restaurant a couple door down - the Sweet Basil...it is fabulous - lunch is a better deal but dinner is extraordinary!

Room Tip: Creekside is quieter- especially on the weekends. The beds are Temperpedic - and most comfortable!

we are traveling through the U.S. in a van, mostly camping, and after spending the last week and a half in national parks we wanted to give ourselves a break and get a night at a hotel in CO. without knowing we decided to stop in Vail, CO. when we entered the state we went into the welcome center and got a coupon booklet. the only coupon for Vail was for Sitzmark Lodge. a standart room for only $99. we arrived to this enchanting ski town, that even in summertime feels magical. right when we arrived, Jennifer at the front desk was really nice and give us all the info we needed, including where do dine on a budget, laundry and pharmacy... the room was extremely clean, you can even smell the clean when you walk in :) all the rooms have balconies, and we got a view to the ski slopes. the bed is a new Tempur-pedic, which might be too good since we almost did not wake up for breakfast since it was so comfortable. the location is right in the heart of Vail village, very close to everything you night need or want. since we loved the plae so much we extended our stay for another night, and although we did not have another coupon, the matched the price. would highly recommend to anyone in the area!!! thank you so much!!!
