Antlers is on the further end of Vail but it is still in an amazing location. My room was absolutely amazing. The view was gorgeous. Staff is very friendly. The bus in very close so you never have to drive while you are there. Ski rentals right outside the entrance. Very short walk to the ski life. NOTE - the gondola is closed after 4 on Sunday and Monday. No one told us that so I missed that experience. I would absolutely recommend Antlers!

Thanks so much. We think we have a great location too! Everyone says so. It's funny though ... I used to think that those very few properties that are literally ski-in, ski-out had it even better than us (rather than our two minute walk). Then I realized that the groomers and snow making guns were right outside their windows (think deafening roar). Yikes. I've come to appreciate that the peaceful quiet we enjoy, more than makes up for the handful of extra steps before you load that first lift. As you know, you can't hear (or see) the highway from here either, which is also something that much of our competition cannot say. Anyway, thanks again ... we look forward to seeing you next year.

We tend to stay five star in Vail..: but when all was sold out, we found the last room at Antlers and what a surprise. First, the pool and hot tub area were the best we experienced in vail.... Clean, big and what a view of the mountains. The rooms were more basic... But kitchens were super clean and had great appliances. Lots of conveniences like laundry, ski storage and so close to lionshead lifts. The staff was amazingly helpful. They have little events each day like yoga, cocktails, etc. the balconies were also great for the mountain view. A few things were a little worn in our condo, especially bathroom, but knew it was clean so that was fine for a few nights. If looking for a great value and terrific location... Antlers is your place in Vail!

Thank you,
We're so glad you found us and that you enjoyed the Antlers. I'm especially happy that you appreciated how clean your condo was. We take enormous pride in that always being the case. I can see from your "handle" that you stayed in 304, which would explain your impression that it could use some work. You're right. That particular condo is rated 83 on our 1 - 100 scale, which is one of the lowest in the whole building. As you may have heard, many of our condos are rated 90+, and we have a written plan in place to get them ALL to that level in the near future. When you call us again, let us know that you expect a Platinum rated unit. If we have one available we'll make sure you get it.
Thanks again!
Rob

spent spring break with my family in Vail. Antlers was perfectly situated and clean and had great amenities but what really stood out was the service. the staff helped us organize activities, drove us for shopping and even the cleaning staff was sensitiive to my wife's allergies to various cleaning fluids. and everyone was so nice on top of it. Antlers has a perfect location in lionshead and we love to cook and bbq as a family and the facilities and private grill on the balcony were fantastic. there were many things we probably didnt take advantage of but we had a great week of skiiing, relaxing, cooking and enjoying the amazing service at Antlers

Room Tip: stay on the 7th floor. great light and views

The location is great. The staff is lovely. Dedicated underground parking is huge. Very easy and convenient with children. The pool is heated and there are 2 hot tubs. It is very quiet. Not on a bus route or busy road.

Although these condos cost more than a regular hotel, it is well worth it. There is a ton of space, full kitchen, maid service, hotel-type lobby with good service. Right next to one of the the main ski villages of Vail mountain so it's a short walk to the slopes. Transport to local grocery store from 2 - 6 allows one to avoid needing a car. Variable front desk help would be my only complaint but I'm sure it's difficult to get competent help in Vail.
