“Loved, loved, loved Antlers at Vail!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Ours was the perfect experience. My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary at Antlers at Vail last month. We had honeymooned in Colorado and thought Vail deserved a re-ski. Everything, everything at Antlers met or superseded our expectations! Friendly staff, clean, well-equipped condos and location close to everything or an easy shuttle away. Loved Vail, loved Antlers at Vail and recommending it highly! Thanks, Antlers!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the gondola, maybe even overlooking the stream. Also, ensure that you...

We have stayed at the Antlers at Vail a number of times over the past 16 years. The apartments are well kept both from a maintenance perspective and from a daily cleaning perspective. The personnel at the front desk are very helpful at checking, during the stay and at check out.

Location of the Antlers is excellent from a skiers, shoppers and eating perspective as it is situated within easy walking distance from the Eagles Nest Gondola, the Born Free Lift, many fine stores and restaurants.

The Antlers has a parking garage so your car can be protected during your stay. They provide wifi service in your room and all around the complex. There is a pool and hot tub.

Our most recent visit was February 23, thru March 1, 2013.

Be sure to keep the Antlers in mind when looking for a place to stay.

We will be back at the Antlers on our next trip to the Vail area!

Our family had never been on a ski trip so when looking over the different accomodations available there was a certain leap of faith in deciding where to stay. They were one of the few resorts we contacted who were happy to take the time and discuss our trip and what we were looking for in a resort.
Seldom do resorts deliver what they promise. Even less often do they exceed it. The Antlers at Vail exceeded any expectations I had prior to arriving.
The property is cozy in that no matter where your unit is, you are fairly close to the ski lockers,, garage, pool, etc. The location of our unit on Gore Creek was amazing in that we had a view of the creek, woods and the slopes.
Getting to the Eagle Bahn Gondola was literally a hop, skip and a jump. When you exit the ski lockers at the property, you walk half away around a cul de sac and through an alley and you are there. Even with no experience walking in ski boots, it was easy.
Everything in Lionshead is close and I was equally happy to see what a short walk it was to Vail Village. Even though there is a free shuttle, we found the walk too nice to resist.
The unit we stayed in was nicely furnished and the decor had a "Colorado" feel to it.
The folks who work there go out of their way to help you out as well. They always act as if your need is their first priority.
We will be back to Vail in the near future and we will stay at the Antlers.

Room Tip: Rooms on Gore Creek have an amazing view. If you stay on the 2nd floor, you are only a half flight...

We booked two apartments and were able to get them next door, which was really convenient as we ate a lot of meals together. The difference in ownership was obvious, though, with the kitchen items and general fit out in one apartment much better than the other. Room service was great and most appreciated, as were the hot tubs at the end of the day, maintenance was prompt and seemed to fix everything (there were quite a lot of problems to start with). Very well located within walking distance of the slopes and Lionshead centre.

Room Tip: Higher up and away from the hot tubs and reception and laundry and conference rooms are probably bet...

I've stayed here once or twice a year for 10 years. That kind of says it all. Close to the base (easy short walk). Heated, underground parking. Ski lockers right on the way to the base. The rooms (condos) are individually owned and vary from room to room. Some are fancier than others, but all are well done and come with a well equipped kitchen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not as "high end" as the nearby Arrabelle, but so much more affordable...and still right at the base.

Room Tip: You can look on line at photos from each room, to help choose which unit might appeal to your tastes

I am writing this while sitting on my balcony, sipping tea, listening to the river rush under the snow, and looking at Vail mountain. The "rooms" are actually closer to condos with a full kitchen, family room(with pull out), fireplace, and separate bedroom. Very comfortable! Right by Eagle Bahn lift and gondola. The pool and hot tub are right by the river and view the mountain. A great place with a great location!

We have been skiing at Vail for 16 years and we were lucky enough to find Antlers in our first year. The property is a perfect distance from the Lionshead Gondola. It is easy to get in and out of, close proximity to grocery stores, and a GORGEOUS property. We have loved each and every visit and wouldn't stay anyplace else. The staff is courteous, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make each stay feel like a vacation with friends. We love walking to the gondola, skiing all day, walking "home" and taking a soak in the hot tub. The rooms are so gorgeous and well appointed, we never want to leave them, but everything Vail has to offer is a stroll away. Thanks Antlers, for another fabulous vacation!

Room Tip: Unit 417 is AMAZING...maybe the most beautiful condo there....
