Perfect for our family. Very short walk to lifts, all modern comforts and wonderful heating.

Room Tip: With children we find the ground floor best when carrying ski gear

Our company has been running a film school in Vail during the Teva Mountain Games for the past few years, and the Antlers is a tremendous place to call home base. This year we had 8 staff members share a 4 bedroom/4bath suite and we couldn't have been happier! The room was luxurious, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

We also had 10 students staying at the hotel in smaller rooms, all of whom spent the week raving about the Antlers and its riverside location. The Antlers' conference room we had for the week was nice and clean, providing a perfect workspace for all. Also, the hotel staff was always accommodating, polite and happy to help.

We had a great week, we will certainly be back next year!

Room Tip: If you have a large group, rent out rooms 420 and 421. You'll be glad you did!

Love this place...2nd time in a row that we have stayed here for the Teva Fest...I like it because its further away from the fest so its nice and quiet at night...Always nice staff at the front desk and we were upgraded to a nicer room which has happened both years so we love that...Its pet friendly so we can bring our dogs...lots of grass for the pups and a nice trail by the creek to ride our bikes around...free coffee and tea in the mornings...All in all a great place and we will return again

Room Tip: Ask for a creekside view room

We were staying in February, in room 506, a studio apartment with king size bed and pullout sofa in the living room. The room size was perfect for 2 adults and 15 years old teenager. Kitchen was fully equipment, with great selection of pots, dishes, spices etc. Small gas fireplace in the living area kept us cozy during winter storms. Balcony with a gas grill and chairs offers a nice view to the mountains, creek on one side and outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi on the other. The bathroom was small but clean and has plenty of fresh towels. There is a hairdryer, humidifier, iron board and safe. The housekeeping service is wonderful with daily towel change, making up the beds and vacuuming. There is a ski storage and ski boots dryer in the garage, from where is just about 2 min. walk to the gondola and Lianshead center. The Antlers are very convenient located , steps from in-town bus, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the nearest supermarket, which comes very handy in case you plan to do grocery shopping. Neither Lianshead nor Vail Village have a supermarket, just a small deli with very limited food selection and sky rocketing prices. Hotel offers yoga classes and weekly meetings with hotel manager. The front desk is always very helpful and provides an outstanding service. Free wi-fi in the room. The outdoor pool and spa was great after a day of skiing. For very expensive place like Vail, Antlers comes as a very good value. If you are prefer luxury, it is not a place for you, but if you are looking for cozy, clean, very convenient located, with family atmosphere place, the Antlers won't disappoint. For our family was a 5 star, and we have already booked it for next year.

First time at Vail, and arriving early by ground transport from Aspen, we were surprised to have our condo ready. It might be a few kilometres to decent supermarket shopping but the guys at Antlers offered, with fair notice, to drop us and pick us up in the late afternoons. Same friendly transport down to the Nordic Centre when we wanted a day off the slopes. Our 1 bed condo (that could accommodate 4 people) was furnished in country cabin style, bulky but suited the place. The owners had left some photos of themselves that made a homely touch without making us feel we were encroaching. Up on 6th floor we could just hear the friendly hum from the pools, and mind those spa pools, they are hot!! 150 metres to the gondola was a fair leg stretch in the mornings, so no complaint there. I'd stay here again, and since I did not know Vail previously, I's choose the Lionshead Village over the main Vail for prximity to the slopes.

Room Tip: Pay for a room with slope views, and wear your coat when using the balcony BBQ.

We recently spent a long weekend in February at Antlers in Lionshead Village in Vail. As we are locals and our kids were in a ski program our goal was proximity to the Gondola. Antlers helped us accomplish this with a minimum of equipment schlepping. The condo was a small one bedroom with a decent kitchen and plenty of space for our family of four. The bedroom and bath were tiny but clean with the added bonus of radiant heat in the bath. The pull out bed was comfortable for our 9 and 10 year old.The lobby offers hot cocoa and coffee and the pool and hot tub are decent. Bottom line: you are within walk-able proximity to all that Lionshead has to offer; slopes, restaurants, shops and ice rink. If accessibility is your goal then this is a great option. However; if you are looking for a luxurious Vail vacation then my recommendation is to go elsewhere.
