I love the Antlers. The staff is excellent. The rooms are awesome (my condo room had a fabulous entertainment system) the rates are reasonable for Vail, especially since you are right on the river. A true hidden gem I highly recommend.

I stayed in a one-bedroom condo with a fully equipped kitchen. The decoration was a nice combination of elegant and homey, and I felt very comfortable there. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the cleaning crew was very efficient. Not to mention the coffee and filtered water in the lobby and other great amenities. Also the location can't be beat: you can walk to everything in Lionshead, and easily get the bus to the rest of Vail. I highly recommend the Antlers!

We booked our suite at Antlers online and somehow mistakenly made the reservation for the night before we actually arrived (I later checked and it was our fault). I understand this was during the slower summer season, but without missing a beat both the front desk staff and the manager all greeted us by name, "Oh, so glad you're here with us Mr. and Mrs. [Idiot], we had hoped when you didn't show last night that it was a simple booking mistake, so we went ahead and prepared another room for you tonight just in case." And he wasn't making it up, either. They had a room already prepared with our name on it and a quick apology that they were sorry the room type we had requested wasn't available that night, but please accept this upgrade at no extra cost. Wow... Yes I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Vail.

Room Tip: Many 1st floor suites (Mtn-facing side) have gates so you can walk right out to the pool area from t...

I was here for a conference at the Marriott next door (just steps away) and registered late. The conference rooms at the Marriott were booked so the organizers used the Antlers for overflow - what a pleasant surprise when I arrived and found I had a much nicer room than my colleagues at the Marriott!

This was a full suite with two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and TV, one with two bunk beds). The living room and kitchen were very nice and my first floor patio was only 20 feet from the river. The main TV in the living room was very large and I found a complete DVD collection of James Bond films in the cabinet - nice touch! Kitchen looked recently remodeled with granite counter tops.

My employer paid for the room so I can't really comment on value (I don't know exactly what they paid, I just know the rate was negotiated to match the conference rate at the Marriott).

The staff was great too. Very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was underground with keyed entry. The location was right next to the Lionshead mall so very close to shops, food, etc. Also, a nice riverfront walking/biking trail passes right behind the property. The swimming pool was small but very nicely designed and well maintained and overlooked the river as did the hot tub.

I was very happy with my stay here and would happily come again.

Antlers at Vail was great!
We had a corner unit for our dog - she loved the balcony. They were extremely accomodating of every request we had. The room was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure very good!

The pool area was just want the doctor ordered following the Tough Mudder.

We'll make this a recurring place for us to stay whenever in the Vail area and will recommend to all of our friends and family.

Thanks for helping us have such a good weekend!

We stayed in a 4BR/4BTH condo (room 519) at Antlers - three couples in our party. It had been advertised as 1 king, 2 queens, and 1 BR with twin beds. But it turned out that 2 BRs had twin beds, which meant that one of the couples had to sleep in twin beds. We tried to switch condos right away, but the other one that was available (with three king rooms) hadn't been cleaned and wouldn't be ready that day. Three of the rooms had private baths, which was nice. Overall, great stay - Antlers is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, as well as within a half-mile walk of Vail Village. It was relatively quiet, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had to ask the front desk to bring us an iron and ironing board, but they did so readily and quickly. The temperature was always a bit too warm for all of us, but opening the windows and the big porch screen brought in a nice cool mountain breeze. Our bath (the upstairs queen bedroom) was starting to wear at the edges - the blinds only went down crookedly, a couple tiles in the sink area are cracked, the closet door fell off its track (happened while housekeeping was there, and was leaning against the wall when we returned, so we're not sure what happened), and the tub didn't drain very well while showering. Pretty typical wear-and-tear for a high-traffic hotel, but worth noting. All the BRs have TVs, and carpet throughout looked (and smelled) recently replaced. Parking in underground garage was convenient, and free wireless internet throughout the condo worked well.

Room Tip: Confirm the specifics on bed types in all rooms.
