If you eat here, you must try the house special slow cooked prime rib. It is so delicious and almost melts in your mouth.
The queen size is more than adequate a portion!

It's funny. I recently read a review of Lancelot by some dope who ordered the fish. Please!!! I'm really tired of stupid people and stupid reviews.

Lancelot is a beef and chop restaurant. GREAT prime rib, GREAT steaks, GREAT service, GREAT ambiance. The best in Vail for beef and chops. If you want fish, go somewhere else.

As a Connecticut resident, I've traveled to Vail 15+ times. I have never had a better meal than that served at Lancelot. Kudos to the owners, chefs and staff. Obviously, I will be back.

All of the food is good, including the fish, but this place is known for it's prime rib, and for good reason! Salads were tasty and the service was prompt. We'd definitely go back.

Been here 3 years ago and now back for skiing holiday, ordered a big started for 2, crabs kegs full portion plus scallops, then for main course prime rib rare and rib eye med rare. The prime rib was as should be but my rib was stone cold raw. . I asked for a house red cab sauvignon but i was immediately directed to something for $70 but when I looked at the wine list there was a cab sauv fro $35 !!

They took my steak away it was so raw, brought it back 5 mins later ,no drama it was fine, but i was concious of the chefs attitude on my steak while recooking it

The bill came $221, so i put in in cash $240 and said that included the tip, given the blood on my plate, but all in all not a problem

Then then head waitress came back to my table and told me straight out my tip needed to be more as it was less than 10%, so i took out my wallet and gave her another $20 for her to take a hike

shocking

Then I have come home and sat on the toilet for 20 mins full of cramps and wind......................i dont care about your silly tip get a life but then to come home and for it all to end up in the toilet in 20 secs !!!! dreadful

never ever again such a repulsive attitude and my bottome hangibg out .....................go to Russels in Vail or the chop house or Billys in lionshead

I Never was arrogant or showed rudeness but as I left I was completely ignored, WE GOT YOUR MONEY ATTITUDE........BYE

If you like prime rib then you will love this place. My favorite place in the world for prime rib is Lawrys in Chicago and this place gives it a run for the money. The rib was cooked prefectly to order which is not always easy to do with a nice baked potato and all the trimmings. The wedge salad and french onion soup was right on. There were 3 adults and 5 kids in our party and everyone enjoyed the meal and the service was great. Everyone in our party had prime rib and all I can tell you is that there was no food left on anyone's plate if thats any indication of how good it was. They also have some steak and fish dishes on the menu but in my opinion you dont order fish at a prime rib place. Try it and you will love it:)))
