“Cool hangout but not for dinner”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2014 via mobile

Good smells, live music, and appealing menu with good prices pulled us in. Lots of menu choices including unique sides. Ordered the catfish special and pulled pork sandwich with sides of baked beans and sweet potato casserole. Very disappointed when we received our food.... Pulled pork was half fat and catfish filets the size of chicken nuggets. Sweet potato casserole sounded delicious, but it was basically brown sugar with pecans and a little bit of sweet potato. Couldn't even eat it because it was so sweet. Left very disappointed.

“Yum!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014

We stayed at Lion's Head and could walk to Moe's in about 2 minutes so the locatin was perfect. Easy, laid back place. Several locals were there while we were. Casual - just move the stools or pub tables over where you need them. I could see where it could be tough to get a table. We had ordered and had to wait for a couple minutes to find someplace to eat otherwise we could have taken it back to our hotel.

Oh and the BBQ - REALLY, REALLY good!! I had the pulled pork, mac & cheese, & banana pudding. My husband had the ribs. He got the last of them so if you want ribs, go early. Everything was super good.

“Great food and value in the middle of Vail!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2014 via mobile

The food was excellent, especially the pulled pork and the baked beans. The portions were large and our family of 4, including 2 teenage boys, ate for $40. The price alone was a pleasant surprise! The only thing I'd recommend is to add some heaters outside. Inside seating is very limited and the outside benches were freezing!

“Roll Tide!!!”

True to it's roots in T-town offering good good and good service. Their cornbread is the best. consistent with the fare offered in their locations in Alabama. This place makes for a great alternative to the $20 burgers offered elsewhere in Vail.

“Quirky local hangout”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

Above average food at reasonable prices. Good value for the money. Local vibe.
Be aware that the only thing for vegetarians is the mac & cheese. Even the collard greens have meat.
