We enjoyed lunch eating outside on the patio. The schnitzel sandwich was good and the prices were reasonable. Service was a little slow at times but it was quite busy over the lunch hour. The menu is fairly limited to the German & Austrian staples (if you don't eat veal, it is even more limited).

I could have eaten here every night of my 4 night stay! With so many well prepared items, I thought I was in Munich again. Both the veal and the Goulash were great. Slight disapointment NO pork at this summer season..Attractive indoor and outdoor settings. Good German Beer. Prices reasonable.

Enjoyed lunch with 5 adults & 2 children. Eat in, front patio or the quiet back patio. 3 of us had the bratwurst platter- hgh quality & generous portions. Great beer! The staff was very attentive. Take a lok at the dessert case-authentic German & Austrian desserts. Feet like I was back in Europe

The Alpenrose is a great place for people watching during the warm weather. They have a lovely deck with great flower beds overlooking a strolling walkway. Grab the beer and brat special. That's a good deal at $12.95. I made the mistake of ordering 2 pasties to go and got charged $9. a piece.

In Winter, this place is cozy and appealing with great gemutlichkeit. You're likely to hear minstrels wandering through the restaurant playing German favorites.
