We stayed at The Sebastian for a long weekend, the leaves were changing colors and fall was in the air. Vail wasn't busy yet. The Sebastian is a gorgeous hotel, very nice cozy bar. The restaurant was great and the food was excellent. They have a heated outdoor pool. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, they made fresh coffee for us the morning we left. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. It is also in close proximity to the ski lift, all of the shops, restaurants and stores.

My fiance and I stayed at The Sebastian during the last weekend of September and had one of the best hotel experiences we had ever had. The amenities and quality of the hotel is really unbeatable. The room was extremely comfortable and we loved the complimentary turn down service each night - they would replenish our complimentary water and give us a brownie or a chocolate chip cookie and set out our robe and slippers for us. Every staff member, from the front desk staff to the valet to the servers at the Market Cafe were fantastic and clearly enjoyed their job.The hotel is right in the heart of Vail Village - a great location for shopping, dining, and of course skiing. I can't say enough good things about The Sebastian.

We visited off season, everything in the resort was in outstanding condition, the fireplace was on, the staff was extremely helpfull, we loved the four jacuzzis and the pool. We had complementary soft drinks, bottled water and snacks in the room. Most everything in the room was custom made. It was affordable luxury and an easy walk to the entire Village. Our standard room needed a little more light but everything else was beyond expectations. They had free DVD rentals downstairs. Vail is so beatifull in the fall and the hotel made our experince even more pleasurable. Would love to come back during season.

Room Tip: standard rooms need more light

We stayed at the Sebastian late September/early October, and had a wonderful weekend! The lobby is beautiful - I love how you still have the comfy Colorado mountain feel, definitely with an upscale flair, but also with a contemporary design. From the minute we pulled into the porte-cochère, the hotel staff were so attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. This would be the perfect getaway for a romantic couple, but also works well for families and groups. They have 2 wonderful looking ballrooms. I am also a meeting planner, and they did a fantastic job with our team that was there previously.

Their staff truly takes the time to get to know you, and by the 2nd day they all knew our name, and our little dog was treated like royalty...very pet friendly.
Our room was equipped with an overstuffed doggy bed and dishes.

We enjoyed the "Frost" bar - really fun ambience there, and the Friday night Sparkle & Pop reception was great - complimentary champagne and white chocolate covered popcorn - what a fun and unique combination, and we also enjoyed meeting the GM and visiting with other hotel guests.

The pool/hot tub deck was nicely done, complete with a firepit in the evening. We enjoyed a morning and evening swim, along with views of the peaks between neighboring buildings.

You just can't beat the location....the Vail Village and great shopping right outside the back door!

Room Tip: A room with a balcony, overlooking pool/and or mountain peaks

The Sebastian hotel was excellent for a weekend stay. Beautiful hotel. The best part was the staff--everyone welcomed you and accomodated every request we had. Nice evening drinking wine out by the fire pit. We will stay here for every future visit.
