Went up to Vail for a weekend getaway from Denver. We had been up in Vail before but this was our first time at The Sebastian. We were concerned at first because we reserved one of the smaller rooms that actually came with a message/warning "for those who prefer function over form." The room ended up being great for us and I can only imagine that other rooms would be even better.
The staff was wonderful. They were able to accommodate an early check-in for us on Friday and we were checked in and up in our room only a couple minutes after pulling off I-70. The location is perfect for walking around Vail Village and also great if you need to get your car and head out to the highway. It was a warm weekend and I appreciated the little things like being handed a bottle of drinking water every time I stopped by the front desk and having them replenished regularly in the room. I thought there was a great balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. We did not eat at the hotel but did order drinks out at the pool. The service outside was slow but that was the closest thing we had to a complaint for the weekend and will certainly be back.More
