Ok location with private shuttle service to vail slopes. Definitely a plus. Our unit was dated & cleaning services could be better. When we arrived there was used tp in the toilet -would not return. Personnel were friendly. Shuttle service drivers were very accommodating

Marriott StreamSide Vail was a perfect location to where I needed to go in Lionshead and Vail Village. Parked my car and never needed to hop back into it. The hotel shuttle conveniently went to both towns 5 mins away throughout the day and night. They even took my to Safeway when we first got here!

The bus system in Vail is free so that was convenient also! Our condo had a full bedroom and bath for mom, full kitchen, living room, two sleeper sofas, patio deck and a fire place with free wood in the garage available to replenish. Furnishings seem updated and new. Bathrooms were very nice as well. Walk in shower in front bathroom was a bit small and confining.

These are vacation rentals so housekeeping was at a cost. But the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. We stayed for five nights so that came in handy. If you need to do laundry like we did, that was free as well. Ski and snowboard rental on property helped. 30% discount for hotel guests.

Lots of hiking, activity, steam room, sauna, fitness center and game room were available. This place had it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our snow-show hike gal was patient with us as we stopped every five minutes to catch our breath.

Nice views of the snow-covered mountains and nice paved pathway to walk alongside the stream in front of the hotel.

I would definitely come back again!

Room Tip: Lower floors have less foot activity from the families above. Rooms in the Douglas building are the...

The Marriott Streamside Douglas at Vail is an excellent facility. The Douglas is one of three buildings collocated on the same property. It is easy access right off the main highway with plenty of parking, mostly uncovered. The main village of Vail is located a short distance east of the facility, you can drive or take the hotel shuttle. Our condo had a private bedroom and full bath, a balcony overlooking the woods, kitchen and bar, main living room with fold-out sofa, fireplace, and 2nd bath room. The complex was very clean and well kept. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Every day there were several different events for the guests; ice cream social, games for the kids, etc. In the area, there was a local grocery store, pharmacy, and plenty of restaurants at all price ranges. Great place for exploring, shopping, or just relaxing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the stream or woods.

7 covered parking spaces access by elevator 8 others under those by stairs only..very nice unit, 1st floor on back end .. use of elevator or stairs, 1 bedroom w/ 2 full baths, 2 fold out sofas, king size bed that was very comfortable, full kitchen with everything, wood burning fireplace with supplied wood, large screen TV's both rooms, 1 dvd player, lots of closet space, iron, hair dryer, safe, small porch looking out the side of unit and back up to mountain, free new dryers n washers down the hall in the unit ..close to main building with the steam, sauna, pool and hot tub that were wonderful .. lots of activities planned by the resort .. very close to major food stores .. free drop off and pick up by resort shuttle was excellent .. staff bent over backwards to help and do it with a smile .. negatives were few .. poor construction amounts to noise from above footsteps .. must pay for house keeping like trash pickup or do it yourself .. actually a wonderful place and would look forward to staying again .. thanks Marriot for a wonderful week stay !!

This was a great place to stay in Vail! We had a unit in the Douglas building and the back of the condo looked over a small stream. There were several deer right off the back porch the first evening we were there. The unit had a private bedroom and two bathrooms (full shower in each bathroom) so that was a huge plus for us! The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, dishes, etc. and we just loaded everything in the dishwasher at the end of our stay. This enabled us to cook eggs, oatmeal, etc each morning and not have to eat every meal out, as well as have some snacks in the evening. The bedroom also had a pullout couch so there would be plenty of room for a family to stay. We loved the location too, very convenient to Interstate 70, and to the various villages nearby. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful too. We also spent one night at The Lodge in Vail Village and the Marriott Streamside was by far the better place to stay

Room Tip: The unit we had in the Douglas building was on the ground floor but we had no issue with noise above...

Nice property away from the bustle of Vail but not too far plus they have a shuttle bus. In our unit the bed was aweful, the couch just ok. Plenty of closet space and two baths in our one bedroom. Really good pool and ftness area, but it requires going outside to reach. Parking was mostly open air, which means scraping in cold temperatures. Full kitchen nicely outfitted. Wood burning fireplce, not gas. Expected more from Marriott.

On arrival we were greeted warmly and given all the information we needed to enjoy the property to the fullest. All of the surroundings, amenities, hallways, and rooms were cozy, well decorated, and functional. We were extremely pleased with our room. The service was excellent. Everything was exceptionally clean. Beds were very comfortable as well as lounging area. Kitchen was well set up with everything we needed. We simply couldn't have asked for more. We enjoyed the very clean and modern workout room, sauna, steam room, and locker room as well. We would absolutely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Not a single complaint.

Room Tip: We shared a suite with a master bedroom with jacuzzi tub on one side connecting living/dining/kitche...
