After a long day of skiing we were looking for a place to eat before driving to Denver. Most places in Vail didn't seem to begin to serve until 5:30 or so. When we approached this restaurant it was about a half hour before the rest. reopened for dinner, but the manager and waitstaff said that they would gladly serve us early. Upon being seated, my twelve year old didn't care for the menu offerings, so we got up to leave and were asked if there was something wrong. We had stated that our daughter had really wanted grilled chicken and some vegetables. The waiter said that the cook would prepare a special dish for her if she desired. We agreed to his offer and stayed. We had a fabulous dinner here. I had caribou and my husband enjoyed the seared tuna. My daughter loved what had been prepared for her. The waiter was incredibly nice. We were glad to have stopped here for dinner.
