“Great Food, Better View”
Reviewed July 29, 2012 via mobile

This is one of Vail's favorites for families. Restaurant is right next to the river in the center of town. Great food and better view during lunch. The wings are wonderful! Average price around $40

“Pricey for lunch but worth the scenery”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

This is the kind of restaurant you go to because it has a nice atmosphere and if you sit outdoors, the creek and other scenery create a great dining experience. The menu is pretty limited and nit cheap the food is mediocre and the service wasn't great either.

“Posh dinner on Gore Creek”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

Really lovely restaurant with outdoor seating located on Gore Creek in Vail Village. Delicous appetizers (truffle fries!!! Pork belly!!!). Entrees consistently delicious, ruby red trout w/ crab, short ribs w/ smoked gouda mac and cheese. Chef specials included fish flown in from Hawaii, sounded great but did not try them. I would say this is one of the better fine dining restaurants in Vail Village, expensive but food is quite good. Did not have lunch there but the pork belly BLT sounded phenomenal. We took our 13 and 16 yr old kids, they are foodies so they really enjoyed the meal.

“Excellent food, interesting view of the creek in Vail”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

Experienced excellent food and service here. Nice outdoor seeting on the creek. The crab-stuffed ruby trout was done to perfection. Overall a great experience and would come back.

“Okay Food, Nice View”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

Our concierge recommended this restaurant for lunch. The food, although not bad, was overpriced for being standard fare. The menu seemed a little slapdash--some fish, some Mexican, some American--and didn't have much of a theme. The cranberry sauce that came with my turkey and brie sandwich was tasty, but the beet salad I had was just ok. Also, the menu said you could add on a salad for $2 extra; the waiter corroborated that but my beet salad ended up being $4 extra. Small detail, but would have been nice to know. They have highchairs and are kid-friendly; that's a plus.
