“Outstanding Experience...worth the trip”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

My wife, daughter and I visited recently and has a terrific experience. Service, bar, restaurant, and hospitality were all excellent. Manager Mike Wisler extended warm hospitality as did bartender and server. Food was also terrific...burgers are among the best in area. Will definitely return. Among Vail's best hidden gems.

“Tasty Food but not Super Expensive ”
Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

Bully Ranch has a very fun and festive atmosphere. You feel like you our at a saloon in the old west. The food is very good, especially their buffalo burger. I suggest splitting something to keep the price down, the portions are big enough for 2 grown men. Bully Ranch is part of the Sonnenalp Hotel which is a very pricy hotel with multiple restaurants one being very expensive and Bully Ranch is not as pricy so when you see that they are connected if you split meals you can get a quality meal for not too much. I would suggest going there if you happen to be in Vail.

“Nice Atmosphere / Poor Service”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

The patio is lovely and the menu looked interesting - overall the food was pretty unimpressive and the service was slow. We ordered our drinks to come out with our food - the drinks didn't make it out until after we were half way done + when it was time to get our bill, it took forever for our server to come back to us. I would be willing to spend more and have a better meal.

“Worth Finding”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

We had read the good reviews of this restaurant and were specifically looking for it (it's a little off the main street) - glad we found it! It has a lovely outdoor area, great service, and excellent food. Try the tomato cheddar soup (my husband is still raving about it), the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and even the two types of bread they brought to the table (say "yes" when they ask you). We thought it was our best meal in Vail. Unfortunately, it was our last night and we made the mistake of not trying their chicken pot pie (which looked great).

“Good food and atmosphere”

Great hamburgers and truffle tots! A good place to bring teens for dinner. Plenty of menu options. Cool rustic ambience! Would eat here again in a heart beat!
