We visited before leaving Vail. We were with our kids. Restaurant got full and service got reaaaaally slow!
Looking at the menu not many options. We really didn't want pizza or burgers...My kids wanted pasta with some protein ( no options in the regular or kids menu.) we end up ordering some shrimp to be added to the kids pasta.
The special with shrimp and lobster over cabbage was delicious as well as the soups.
The restaurant is beautiful and great atmosphere.
To go back I would probably look at the menu to make sure We are in the mood for what they have.

as we were styaing right across the street and our dd was in golden peak ski school.

we had lunch one day and food was okay. server was nice.

had wine and some apps one afternoon...the bartenders were a hoot!

had dinner, wine and apps one evening and dinner was okay.

it is close to the ski school so that is a plus. dinner portions are on the smaller side. but, we would definitely return!

Went here for dinner 4 days ago and was not impressed at all. Had a vodka house cocktail with pear infused vodka and cucumber which is usually a nice refreshing combination but not so the way they prepared it. Who ever heard of serving a martini in a highball glass W/ICE?? Hated it! For dinner we had the scallops and short ribs. My husband didn't even eat the scallops because there were only 2, so he just had them boxed up to take home and my short ribs were the worst I've ever had very dry, not falling off the bone as the waiter said they would and the sauce was so bland the entire dish had NO FLAVOR. Skipped dessert after those fiascos -- no need to waste more money on a lousy meal. The only decent thing about our experience was the oysters we had as an appetizer, although I've never seen oysters that small they were prepared in a unique way: deep fried!

Service was also very poor and our waiter was really unattractive with very bad teeth -- not something you want to look at yet along communicate with while dinning. Maybe we're too accustomed to dinning in LA where attractiveness is 50% of your job, but I prefer nice looking waiters when I'm spending $$$$ to eat food I could make at home.

We visited Larkspur with a group of four. Our table selected the chefs tasting menu. Overall food was good. Not overly memorable but nicely prepared and served. Some of the staff seemed like they were training so the service was so-so. The head waitress however was excellent. She and the chef went out of their way to accommodate our friend who was pregnant and needed some menu adjustments.
Dining environment was pleasant.

Parking is an issue, but the food is great and the building that it is in is beautiful. The market items are expensive, but less than you would expect to pay on Vail Mountain.
