My husband and I love a good steak. We have eaten at several high quality steak houses around the country. We were very impressed by the filet at Elway's - the cut, the cook (we always do medium rare and some steakhouses don't get that quite right). The side dishes were also quite good - the John's salad was tasty and unique and the potatoes au gratin were delicious. The dessert (Chocolate cake) was incredible. We were seated in the atrium which is almost like a rotunda with windows all around which is the best seat in the house (if you are in a really large group they probably can't fit you in there however). The wait staff was good - not great. We have eaten at some places where the waitstaff is very well trained and you are given full white glove service. Not bad here but not what you would expect from a steakhouse like this. I would however highly recommend and return in the future.
