“Great and friendly guides”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

A large group of us went snowmobiling with Vail Valley Tours in Vail. The whole organization was very professional and they gave good instructions on how to use the snowmobiles. Gregg took us on a great tour and we had time to race each other on a "track" next to the Yurt hut. Amazing views of Vail!

I would highly recommend this tour, especially for a large group of people or families.

“Unreal scenic tour of the Vail back country!”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Gregg was our tour guide of 4 for a 2 hour tour of the Vail back country. The scenery was amazing and we had the chance to race each other around a snowed in lake, we were met with some great hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies before we went back out to finish our tour of the mountain. Highly recommended and am seriously considering going again tomorrow! Thanks again Gregg!

“Amazing!”

Absoulutely excellent, the warm cookies and hot chocolate hit the spot. My guide gregg was very good about making sure we knew the safety features of the snowmobiles. The view was stunning. Definitely worth doing if you get sore from skiing!

“Great Views, Good times”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Our group of four took the two hour tour with our guide, Gregg. Gregg started with an on time pick up at our Beaver Creek condo. We picked up two more guests and were at the tour base with in minutes. Gregg took a look at our shoes and jackets and recommended the use of their free gear for those of us who might have had equipment that may have been less suitable for the conditions. After a safety and riding lesson, we were off. Part of the trip was on groomed forest service roads, other parts were on single track through the trees. Vail Valley had two "play areas" where we could use the snow mobile at each persons comfort level on a oval track. Our group chose to head up Red White Road so we could see the views instead of playing at the first location. On our way down to the yurt for snacks, we stopped at the second play area. This area had a natural "jump" where the machines caught air, even at slower speeds. For a novice, that was a nice bonus to the day. Unfortunately one of our group went off the trail and needed to be rescued by Gregg. Gregg handled this well and did not get upset with the rider even having to climb through thigh high deep snow. The views were amazing we stopped at an area that had 360* views of the Vail Valley. We called each tour company before deciding on Vail Valley. All offered the same thing, two hours, snacks, and great views. We chose Vail Valley Tours as they offered a "buy 3 get 1 free" coupon. Even with out the coupon I would go with Vail Valley again. We have been on two other tours, one in Colorado and the other in Whistler. Vail Valley's terrain had both beat. Gregg did push slow riders to catch up, had great information about the area, and focused on providing us a good time. It was only after the tour, that I noticed Vail Valley had a higher Tripadvisor rating than the other companies. I would have to say they definitely earn all the great reviews. You will not be let down with Vail Valley tours for a great time on the snow.
