“Not this August but in the past”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

I was there this time after Bravo and the Dance Festival but I have enjoyed this venue for concerts in the past and enjoyed the venue and kindness of the local ushers with fun stories. The lawn is free or minimal cost for some concerts but I chose to buy a ticket for a seat in the amphitheater and was very comfortable. I wish something had been there this trip but out of season especially since I stayed at Manor Vail (excellent) across Gore Creek.

“Free Concert”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

Vail has free concerts on Tuesday evenings in the summer. We saw String Cheese...the sound system worked so well we wish we would have had some hearing protection. They did not sell ear plugs there ;-(. They say no coolers or food, but we saw many people arriving and being admitted with the booty. It's a great venue. We sat on the hillside in the grass. Bring a blanket!

Great time, great time and fun...nites were a little chilly, but worth it! Telling everyone about the fun and venue.

“Vail Soul Music Festival”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

Loved the venue! Visiting from Dallas, it was a treat to enjoy an outdoor festival in August and not BAKE in the 100+ temperatures! You guys did a great job hosting the music festival!

“NYC Ballet”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Watching the NYC Ballet in the Ampitheater was just spectacular. With 2 daughters that dance competively and their first visit to the mountains, we couldn't have had a better evening in Vail.
