“Colorado was very beautiful and cold”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2012

My husband grew up in Colorado and showed me around the areas of Vail, Boulder and Eire.
It was gorgeous. The Vail area reminded me of the Swiss Alps a bit.
It was very cold in Vail but gorgeous.
I was surprised that we have such beautiful mountains in our own country.
Vail really is beautiful.

“Why would you go any where else!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2012

There is something for everyone in Vail Valley, whether you ski, shop, hike, dine, bike, snowshoe, tube, or want to relax with your friends.

It is a laid back place. Try staying in Lions Square Lodge if you want to be close in to the Village. Wait until the last minute to book or get on their list serve to get great deals. Free bus system means you don't need a car. Fly in/out of Eagle/Vail airport and take Colorado Mountain Express to the Lodge.

“Fabulous Vacation Spot.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

Equally fun in summer and winter. Great for families. Lots to do --- skiing, ice skating, great trails for running and hiking, biking, massages, great restaurants, golf, tennis and so much more. In summer, prices are very reasonable for both lodging and restaurants. There's a fabulous music season at Ford Ampitheater, including the New York Symphony. Then, there's a wonderful international dance festival. The best!
