“Perfect for a picturesque stroll”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

Stroll from the Golf Course all the way to Lionshead along the creek. Inhale the scent of pine and mountain air. This is a leisure activity - if you wish to bike, rollerblade, run or otherwise work out, choose another path unless you are highly proficient at people slalom..........

“Favorite for Biking or Walking”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

This is a hidden gem that more visitors to Vail should explore. I have biked the trail and walked it end-to-end. The east part of the path is more scenic than the west end, although the east section can be quite hilly. Make sure you can navigate the gears on your bike before you tackle it. The path leading to East Vail has many hidden tracks for "off-path" riding that are great. The views are fantastic, with benches along the way for stopping and taking pictures. There aren't any rest stops except at the Golf Course, so bring plenty of water. Riding the path from Vail to East Vail and back doesn't take much more than an hour to an hour and a half at a leisurely pace, including stopping for pictures. The views are worth it, you are right up against the mountain. Highly recommended, whether a first-time visitor to Vail or a return traveler.

“Great riding!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

First time bike riding in like 20 years, and aside from the uphill climb getting to the bridge to town, it was very convenient and well kept.

“Great bike trail”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

Went over Vail Pass from Vail village to Copper, Frisco, and Breckenridge 3 times in 4 days. Great trail. Hard slog going up......15 miles with 3400 ft of elevation which hurts when you start at 8,000 ft. But the run down to Copper and Frisco is great.....coming back you can reach speeds of over 45mph if so inclined!!!

“Great bike trail!”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

So much fun biking down Vail Pass into the village. Only scary part is when the trail runs along the Interstate for a mile or so, if you are riding with children be prepared to be freaked out a bit. Otherwise, great adventurous ride that becomes a lovely path through beautiful neighborhoods.
