The $8 lunch specials are appealing - salad or soup, egg roll, and an entree. We had a really good meal a week ago, so we returned yesterday. The Orange Chicken was quite good, but cold fried rice and a luke warm egg roll were not palatable. We didn't complain or request replacement foods. The waiter was a nice young man who spoke little Engilsh.

Great food. Nothing fancy but a terrific value. A breath of fresh air in a resort town with resort prices.

We stopped in here for lunch on the 4th of July. Every restaurant on the main street was too busy, so we ventured onto the side streets and found this nice spot. We sat on their outdoor patio, it was a great day to be outside. There were several groups at the hibachi tables, we coud hear them cheering and laughing, sounding like they were having a fun meal. We ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef and Broccoli both with Fried Rice (which cost extra). It was very good tho expensive, but as I have read, Vail is just expensive. Our meals with one soda came to $47. But, it was alot of food, enough for us to only want small salads for dinner.
If you are looking for gourmet, this is not your place, if you are looking for good solid fare, I would recommend it. The service was fast and friendly.

We arrived ready for hibachi in the summer & it was really tasty and good. They had those fun Japanese soft drinks the kids like and the hibachi chef's presentation was clever and good. Tasty food- we tried the filet mignon, chicken and shrimp and were really pleased with the quality and the flavors. They brought us a complimentary mystery dessert which was not good but it was complimentary so I cannot really complain. Overall, a fun find in Vail and a treat that our dinner bill was discounted for the slower summer months.

Sushi was done well (4 stars), service was good (4 stars), but this was expensive (2 stars). I know, I know, sushi in the mountains (Vail, no less) - what do I expect? This was the only time in the weekend that I looked at the bill and said, "Sheesh!" If you have to have your sushi, then by all means this is the place. If not....
