“Absolutely beautiful true ski in, ski out hotel & resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We loved every minute we spent here. The view from our room was fabulous overlooking Gore Creek, Vail mountain and the ski out Cascade lift. We were a bit worried about noise when we were checked into a room on the main floor of the hotel, however, everyone staying here was extremely respectful of the other guests. It was virtually silent from 9pm-8am. Our king size bed was very comfortable, and the kids didn't complain about the pull out sofa. Bathrooms are large with double vanity and separate wet area. Our room had a mini fridge which was nice for snacks and drinks. The staff was incredible, valets could not have been friendlier, concierge was helpful with dinner reservations and snowmobiling tours, our bellman went out of his way for us, even offering to take family pictures on our balcony as we were leaving. On site ski rental and storage at Charter Sports allowed us not to wear our ski boots back and forth to the room (skis, poles and boots were stored for you in the afternoon and delivered to the lift in the morning). We were literally 80 footsteps from the lift to our room. Kids loved the outdoor heated pool which overlooks the creek and mountain. The restaurant had a good full service or buffet breakfast, the market had continental breakfast options plus tea and coffee, and the bar was busy every evening. Can't say enough good things about this resort. We will definitely return...hopefully sooner than later!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 181, gorgeous view, small balcony overlooking creek, lift and mountain, morning su...

Dear Natalie,
Thank you for your recent stay at Vail Cascade! As alpine guides to the very best experiences in Colorado, we agree that our location, ski amenities and access to Vail Mountain can’t be beat. If you think winter is amazing, you should come back and check out the summer. Your family will love it!

Should your travels bring you back to Colorado, we’d love to welcome you again to Vail Cascade.

I have been to this property before and loved it then but that was several years back. They have done renovations since adding a restaurant, etc and its beyond wonderful! We felt like part of a family. The service was wonderful, concierge was helpful and truly interested in us enjoying ourselves and the dorrman, he has been there forever, was more then accomodating.
The rooms are sapcious, with wonderful views - we had balcony that overlooked the stream and mountains. Our highlight was swimming int he wonderful pool then having dinner fireside next to the pool looking at the beauty that is Vail.
We will definitely be back!!

I loved this place! We had booked two nights using my airline miles and I wanted to stay a 3rd night, however, the place was booked. We had a room overlooking the creek and the mountain with the chairlift. This place had a balcony, hot tub, spa, a trail to Vail Village, and two wonderful restaurants. I walked the trail to Vail Village and I was so happy that I didn't stay in the village. It is noisy, expensive, and the hotels are not that close to the slope. Vail Cascade Resort was my happy place to be and I would definitely return.

Room Tip: Room 271 was our room. I guess any room with a mountain and creek view.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in November. Our room was very clean, modern, and well decorated. The bed and pillows were great! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the cafe and gift shop were nice as well. To top it off, we stayed in a upgraded room with a Travelzoo voucher for only $109 a night! I would definitely recommend!

Staying at Vail Cascade for 5 days is fantastic It was a great choice by my hubby to give a Christmas present to the whole family, with other choice of Las Vegas, the kids unanimously voted Vail Colorado! The location, shuttle bus,, worth it short distances to lift and different ranges of skiing slope for a first timer skier a spectacular vacation site cant be so boring, the nite lift is romantic don't forget that one and the most a place to eat in the mountain way above the town.........

The convenience of having the ski lift right outside the door was great, and being able to check your gear with Charter Sports was so nice. The rooms were good sized and had nice amenities. I would say that for how much we paid for the President's Day weekend, the bathroom could have been a little more updated, eg the tub. The shuttle was very convenient as well. I also thought that there were not sufficient spas and a small outdoor pool for a ski hotel. I think capacity for all the spas was about 25, which is not enough after a long day on the slopes. I also went over to the 'health club.' To walk over from the hotel is depressing, the covered walkway is not heated, the hallways are desolate and the trip was not entirely worth it. I had planned to go to the spa, but after checking it out, I decided not to do so. It was too far, too cold and too isolated. I think they need to reconfigure their services, add some better lighting and update their common areas.

We stayed for two nights at Vail Cascade... and we loved it! Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The towels were great and the bed was AMAZING! The hotel is removed from the busy downtown area of Vail, however we loved the quiet location and the shuttle. The shuttle runs about every 10 minutes from 8am-Midnight. The concierge was helpful and the front desk staff were very friendly and inviting. We had to ask for bathrobes and they were delivered within five minutes! We were very lucky to find a discounted rate on Expedia that was part of a rental car package. Our only complaint was the location of our room... It had a great mountainside view but was a long walk from the bar, front desk, shuttle. We typically wouldnt mind this, however it was hard to lug ski gear after a long day on the mountain. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to couples or families! It is very romantic (the hottub and pool are amazing!) but also inviting to familes and groups. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: The mountainside view room (without a balcony) was very spacious and comfortable. We didnt feel the...
