We stayed at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa in November 2012. The resort was beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located to area attractions. We had a mountainside room so the snow covered mountain view from our room was beautiful. The outdoor hot tubs are very nice however, the larger one was always very crowded. We did find a smaller hot tub and had that pretty much to ourselves. There is also an outdoor fireplace for you to enjoy. There is a walking trail behind the resort which allows you to take a stroll and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The breakfast buffet at the resort restaurant was delicious, but a bit too pricey. Overall a nice place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights last Oct and LOVED the service and the breakfast buffet at the Atwater. This yr we again stayed 2 nights and had the breakfast buffet but were disappointed in both the service and the food. This yr there wasn't an omlette bar (made to order). There were certainly enough people this yr to support that versus last year there wasn't that many people and they still had the omlette bar. The bacon was barely cooked both days and the scrambled eggs were not cooked very done - kind of slimmy looking. The 1st day our server did not tell us we could ask for made-to-order eggs (heard that thru another serving letting his guests that) so the 2nd morning we asked for made to order eggs as again they were still slimmy looking. We asked for crispy bacon both mornings and were brought out a nice serving of crispy bacon! Last year our service was much better and alot speedier. This yr it's like they kind of forgot about you. :-( We had looked forward to this buffet all month because last yr it was so good. So just a little disappointed in the service and some of the food.

We rented a 2 bedroom condo over Labor Day. The condo was easily accessible, clean and comfortable. We used the shuttle to Vail Village and ate in the lounge. Overall, it was a really nice experience.
