Cascade Village is a great place to stay for families. They offer all the essential amentities that makes a ski vacation easy and enjoyable: Ski conciere right next to the lift; their own lift to the slopes (you don't have to mess with all the people at Lionshead or the Village); beautiful outdoor pool, hot tubs, and fire pit right next to the beautiful Gore Creek; amazing fitness center and upscale spa/locker rooms (kids loved playing basketball after we finished skiing); frequent shuttle service to/from Vail Village and Lionshead. We would come back to this property with our kids again.

Room Tip: We had a condo unit on Gore Creek. (Right next to hotel) The views of Gore Creek and the mountain...

Beautiful place, away from the bustle of Lion's Head and Vail Village yet only minutes away via hotel shuttle. Rented car never left the garage for the whole Spring Break. Heated outdoor pool with bar service! It's own Chair life and ski concierge and onsite ski rental! Clean updated rooms with forever hot water!! (Needed after a long day skiing). Awesome bar onsite (Also needed after long day skiing). Humidifier in room (always a nice touch, can get dry up in the mountains). Great view of the mountains and a little creek alongside hotel. Friendly great service. Price was right considering this is Vail during Spring Break! We'll be back!

Room Tip: Pay an extra nickel for the Mountain View!

Stayed during Spring Break 2013. Loved the location-for skiiers, cannot beat the chairlift and ski equipment concierage service. Hotel Service staff were excellent, lobby bar after skiing was perfect. Spa was terrific. Room was small and faced motor courtyard so it could be a little noisey, and bedding was average so next time would upgrade to a bigger mountainside view room. Overall would absolutely come back, given the location and friendly staff! Thank you!

We just returned from our stay at Cascade resort and spa, awesome place. Location is west vail, so in winter can't walk to vail village etc. but free shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes, works great.
Ski lift is literally 25ft. outside of the ski rental/concierge storage. Perfect way to start.
Resort pool is small, but warm and outside, kids loved it.

We stayed in Penthouse 4, condo inside the main building so hotel amenities all right there. We had 3 bedrooms, king master, 2 queens, 2 twins. 2 level condo with hot tub on the deck in out unit. Full kitchen, all newly remodeled, granite, stainless, etc 5 star! 2 fireplaces in the unit.

Restaurant and bar great spots.

Have a hard time imagining staying anywhere else in vail except that it would be fun to stay right in Vail Village at some point.

Great stay!

Onsite Aria Spa was very nice, locker rooms and post spa amenities not as good as many spas I been to, but still nice.

My husband and I took our 8yr old son for March 2013 Spring Break from GA. Such a wonderful and inviting property from the minute you arrive. The chair lift was right outside of the hotel making it so convenient to get going each day. Not to mention the convenience of the ski rental/storage office next to the lift. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. Of course, we took advantage of the awesome heated pool and hot tubs every evening before dinner. So relaxing and peaceful surrounded by nature and the mesmerizing fires strategically placed throughout the property.

I realize this is an amazing review, and that is my intention. The only negative is it's so far from home! Can't wait to go back again someday,

*I had a fantastic birthday dinner (compliments of the chef) at Atwater on Gore Creek.

We love the Cascade during ski season. There is literally a lift at the hotel - this alone makes the hotel incredible. We've also stayed here during the summer, and we love lounging by the pool, taking in the scenery and listening to the creek roaring by. We love walking into Lionshead and Vail Village, but if you're not up for a a walk, it is easy to drive and park. There isn't much directly around the hotel, but the ski lift definitely makes up for it. Overall, we love the Cascade and will return in the summer and winter!
