“Italian tradition where you don't expect it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2014

Unless you're a history or geography buff, you may not know that Trinidad was settled by Italian coal miners (and others). Nana & Nano's preserves this tradition with an authentic Italian deli (mostly imported stuff) and very good, if basic, Italian food. We never miss stopping here. It's very popular with locals and small (about 6 tables), but we always buy something from the deli. They ship their salad dressing all over the US and we never fail to bring home a bottle. I always order the ravioli, but everything we've had (or friends have had) has been delicious. This is truly a family business out of the "old country."

“A Favorite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

We had lunch here with a woman who lives in Trinidad. There were a number of locals at the restaurant. No wonder. The food is wonderful, the service is delightful and they have a number of interesting items for sale. We had the spaghetti with meatballs, the ravioli with meatballs and the rigatoni with Italian sausage. It was fantastic and we sopped up the superb sauce with the bread.
