Now boys and girls if you Know Jomtien complex, you will know that it is a sort of run down, chaotic, noisy area. Step through the entrance of The Venue and you can leave all that behind and relax in Comfortable and affordable elegance.

No, The Venue is not a 5 star hotel but then again neither are its rates but you will certainly be treated like a 5 star customer.

No, The Venue is not a major hotel "Giant", it has a guest house feel to it where you will most definitely feel like a welcome guest.

Beautifully decorated spacious rooms, Clean sheets and towels every day, Tea & Coffee provided in the rooms, Flat screen TV & DVD player, Mini bar, Beach towels changed daily, Air con, well stocked toiletries, and all for under 30€ a night for two people, you cant really ask for more can you ?

Downstairs every night is the show bar where you will be entertained with a high quality fast paced and spectacular show. Don't worry about the noise, it finishes well before midnight so you will get your beauty sleep....Oh yes, Beauty sleep. We all need it and you will sleep soundly in a very comfortable, Large bed with quality bedding !

As I said before, Not a "Hotel Giant" but most certainly walks with the giants where quality and value for money are concerned.

Room tip: The rooms at the back of the building don't over look the complex itself so would be less noisy but we stayed in a room at the front and had no problem with Nigh-time noise.

Ive just stayed at this 'hotel' for 9 nights after arriving a few days earlier than expected. I booked a Junir Suite and was told i had one, it turned out i didnt, but i was offered what i was told was a 'special rate' it might have been for a suite but not for the room i received, however, it was sufficient to stay for the amount of time, the mini bar was quite cheapish, but everything was OUT OF DATE, i told reception but in 9 days nothing happened to it, not my problem its just i would have drunk it dry everyday so they only lost out on money. i went to one of the many millions of 7 elevens and saved even more.

there is no food on site which is a shame they have plenty of room for a nice continental brekky area.

never used the tiny pool/terrace.

the house keeping staff are amazing, they really looked after me and vice versa, even got a lovely thank you and hug on my check out.

The show.... well it is you would expect, miming!! except for one guy who something live, which was very nice... its all big colourful costumes (on the lead mimist) but entertaining to watch, however they say there is no cover charge but jeez you are stung for a bottle. 130 baht for a singha, other bars charge between 40-60 baht so effectively you are being charged but it is hidden in the drinks prices, and then after the show they hang around for tips.

the service staff are nice, one didnt smile the whole time i was there, he needs to go. but the others are brill and nice and funny.

The hotel is 5 mins from the Beach, and Baht Buses are 2 mins walk away which is very handy to pattaya 10-20baht depending how far you travel. twice they tried to rip me off, he asked for a hundred.. i soon told him where to go, he said he would call the police i said 'fine, i will wait' he drove off.

i was looking forward to a nice chat with the owners but never got to see them unfortunately.

there is a really nice local restaurant called 'spring onion' its sooo cheap for lovely delicious Thai food and they will make the food to your liking with the spices. up to 80 baht for curry and rice.

I would stay here again it was nice, and peaceful. even with the show on you couldnt hear an awful lot and i was on the 3rd floor.

Enjoy your stay but dont expect an awful lot..

there is a lovely restaurant on the beach road called Akvavit about 10 mins from the hotel, it is a must and is advertised on channel pattaya one. find it and have a nice evening.

they are doing hotel rooms to a very high standard soon, so i will be checking it out. The owner and Executive chef is called pelle pettersson and makes it his pride to welcome you.

The only reasons one stay there is if one like nightlife and this place is not a hotel (no good facilities) and should not be listed under hotels. It's a guest house in a noisy entertainment area and room was also very noisy and not very clean...no chance to get a good night rest. However the service is good and if someone likes nightlife and does not mind to stay in a bed and breakfast kinda place then I assume it is ok...however the rates are not that cheap. We go Pattaya often for the weekend and stay at many hotels but this one is not a real hotel but more a few shophouses with a noisy night club and we cannot return.

I stayed in jomtien in november 2012 allready for the second time.
This hotel is very clean, has a great staff and a perfect location just 5 min walk to the beach.
Also the nightly cabaret show (with every night a different show!) is great to see! Big Thumbs up for all the performers!
This place is a real gem in jomtien!

1.Perfect rooms - like suites; no breakfast.
2.Excellent show-cabaret with reasonable prices, no entry.
If the show runs....you hear nothing in your room.
3. Free wifi
4. Nice stuff
5. If you will invite a guest - no problem. guests must give the ID to the receptionist and will get it back, when they leave the hotel. Before the receptionst asks you, if all is fine.....very safe.
6. If you are coming very often there, they give you special prices, no need to ask - they offer that when you want to make reservation!!!!!!
If I am in Pattaya I only stay there since a couple of years.
And all my friends like it also meanwhile when they come to Jomtien.

Room tip: Take what is free.....and if you like to sleep with open window: take a room on the backside of the hotel.
