“Perfection”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

Only stayed one night and it was the best place we stayed on our 10 day trip to France. We had a last minute booking and had the Blue room which was the only one available .We thought this room was perfect but Sophie said that the other rooms were far more spacious and next time we will try to book earlier.
We were greeted by Sophie and had dinner in the fantastic barn ....the Dinner was so good , the wine flowed and the food delicous .
Breakfast again served in the barn and the attention to detail was amazing .
We went to Giverny the next day and Sophie booked our tickets to avoid queuing .
Would definitely go back .

We stayed overnight as part of a cycling tour, and our only regret is that we did not stay for longer. The other reviews listed here are completely accurate - this is a very special place, with wonderfully hospitable hosts. The rooms (we stayed in Riviere, but also saw Foret and Soleil) have been furnished to a very high standard, and in a very individual style. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks on the terrace, and the table d'hôte, served in La Grange (a hugely impressive barn conversion), was delicious. Breakfast was similarly wonderful. We will return, for longer!

We took over the 3 barn rooms for 2 days July 2-5 2013, with our children & grandchildren. It was like home from home. Sophie & Francois are great hosts, & provided great breakfasts & dinners - don't miss them. We shall be back !

Room Tip: 2/3 Rooms in barn are great for family group, although upstairs.

Stayed 3 nights here and what a fabulous experience it was... both the farmhouse and the barn has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard. The surroundings are very tranquilising and beautiful with one side of the garden bordering the river Eure. Sophie and Francois are wonderful hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing with wonderful locally produced jams, cheeses, ciders & wines. Dinner at the barn with other guests was a great experience and food was delicious. It is a gem of a B&B and we are so pleased to have found it. Thanks you so much Sophie & Francois for making our stay so special. We will definitely be coming back. Chanika & Dantha

Stayed for one night en route to Calais and as soon as we arrived realised we should be staying longer. Stunning barn conversion very tastefully decorated, communal spaces and rooms alike. We were travelling with our 4 month old baby and all ours and the babies needs were catered for. Room was very spacious (Solleil) with a fabulous bathroom and the four course dinner with wine for €30 euros is good value. Excellent hosts who ensured that our stay was a good one. And it was. We will be back!

Even if you are not very close to this B&B MAKE A DETOUR - it is well worth it! A very special place indeed! Sophie and Francois are so lovely and make you feel at home from the start! We've never stayed anywhere that remotely comes close to this in regard to comfort, luxury, tranquility and downright nice people! We'd definitely recommend staying for dinner - Francois is a fantastic cook and we even stayed a second unplanned night as it was so special! We're even planning to return with our friends for a weekend - there really aren't many places as lovely as this! Don't miss it!

The welcome we received from Sophie and Francois was warm and sincere and we were looked after like family. All the amenities were very good and very tasteful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is idyllic with grounds going down to the river Eure and, after three days, we left feeling relaxed and will definitely go back again. Francois is an excellent chef and we had a wide variety of typical local food, which was beautifully presented. Tranquility is where you find yourself and La Ferme des Isles was beyond our expectations. Thank you Sophie and Francois. Roger and Chris.
