“Comfort food at it's finest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

We stumbled upon Maggie's the first morning we were in Telluride and we ate there every day that we were there! Their hash brown style potatoes were divine and I don't usually like hash browns! Don't pass them up if you get the opportunity to have them.

They also had delicious in season fruit and yummy pastries. Their breakfast burrito wasn't bad. One thing that we did try whilst there was biscuits and gravy and we thought that they were too bland and definitely not worth the calories.

This is a cozy diner that makes you feel like you are dining at the place where the locals like to dine. You kind of feel like you're on the set of "Cheers". :-)

We loved it!

“OK food with a personal touch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

Met a friend for lunch. The food presented solid deli/brew pub fare. What stood out was the amazing service. We had a 13-month old baby with us and every time she showed signs of getting bored, the waitress would come over with a new toy for our amusement. When we were distracted looking after the little one, the waitress boxed up our left overs. I've never seen anyone with such a great sixth sense for timing and service. Great location next to Elks Park in the center of town.

“Mediocre food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

We had lunch here, and it was average and fairly expensive for what we ordered. A hamburger, a bowl of soup and a house salad. We also had a diet and iced tea. The bill was $27.00. The hamburger was served in a paper boat. The soup was more like scalloped potatoes. It was so thick my spoon stood still in it. I think it only serves breakfast and lunch.

“Lunch outside was lovely.”

This little deli type shop is a nice place to pick up lunch & sit outside watching the tourist. Good relaxing place after your morning hike or walk about.

“Disappointing breakfast”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

We were disappointed with the quality of the food here. Eggs were undercooked, potatoes lacked taste, toast served with no butter and a very small portion of jam that did not cover half, salsa had little taste, refries did not seem to be homemade. Very disappointing meal.
