As mentioned by other reviewers, the restaurant is a cute, old cabin. This, however, means that the spaces are crowded. We arrived (on time) with a throng of other diners and had to wait to be seated. The waiting area was already crowded with people who were complaining they had been waiting to be seated for 15 minutes. Horrors! I felt so sorry for the people dining at tables in the bar area. They were trying to enjoy their meals with people, some of them inordinately irate, hovering over them making comments. Waiting outside in below zero weather was not an option. Nevertheless, we persevered with martinis and were led upstairs to a little alcove where we had the only large table-- we were a party of eight. It was great! I can't vouch for the downstairs dining area but our "private room" was awesome even if at times we wondered if the floor could collapse and land us on top of the bartender. Did I mention this place is OLD? Anyway, there is a varied prix fixe menu of tasty food as well as attentive and accommodating service. All this charm does not come cheaply but it was good enough that we did not feel ripped off. Definitely would return!
